It's ok not to eat them.  At least that's what I heard. :grin:

Back when I used to eat them I would freeze them and make a slushy out of it with lots of milk and chocolate syrup.  It wasn't a pleasant experience as far as taste goes.  It's a nice high though.  Better than cubes for me because of the other alkaloids.  Mellow and relaxing.

Well, personally im not big on pcilocybe mushrooms and im probably going to give them to my friend and just babysit him while he trips, maybe chug a few beers and watch football...And to be perfectly honest, the first drug i ever tryed was Aminita Amerimuscaria =D simply because it has some medicinal use.  I love herbal and natural medicines. I love eating them fresh because they just taste so amazing. I wait till im sick or sumthin, then i mix up some turkey-tail-tea and take a shot of whiskey mixed with honey and lemon juice. If you ever have a hard time sleeping, or alot of coughing, THis is a perfect remedy for common colds.  ALWAYS WORKS

Excellent idea and sound advice.  I use that myself from time to time, minus the Turkey Tail, sometimes minus the honey and lemon juice. :wink:

The way they're growing in a dense tuft from the stump's root system under the ground and their large size in button stage makes me think they're G. spectabilis rather than G. luteus which are alot smaller with thinner stipes. G. luteus tends to grow more spread out on exposed wood, and is lighter in color.

yes, there are galarinas (may have spelled that wrong) they are poisonous and look fairly similar to Gyms, so be careful and happy shrooming my friend:peace:
