"Drastically Jurastically" is from some rap song. Can't quite place it at the moment, but I seem to recall it was sampled by U.N.K.L.E.

Probably "Jurassic 5."
Other than that I have nothing to add to this thread....yet.

Mushroom hunting can be a great hobby just don't expect to reap the rewards too early in your career. Buy some good guides and study the ID requests here and you might be a decent amateur mycologist.
Be wary of the potential to think every mushroom can get you high if you just believe enough that it is active. Don't eat anything you can't confirm as being edible. Unless you have been looking forward all your 16 years to die a slow painful death...no joke!

Can't agree enough with this statement. Kidney and Liver failure is nothing to look forward to. MAKE SURE YOU GET ID's before you eat anything since you are new to hunting. Just a few weeks ago I found some actives and snatched up what I could, but good thing I printed them all cuss a few of them were an extremely poisonous species that looked almost exactly alike. There are very few key features that separate the good from the bad to an amateur.

No shit huh!! it's tough sometimes to be 100% when you're new to mycology, with actives or edibles. Also got some great spore prints from the stuntzii I found today. Are they fairly easy to cultivate outdoors?

I've no idea, but you should look in to trying to grow them indoors! That would be badass if you got an indoor Stuntzii grow going.

Thought about trying to get them going on some agar then fruiting in a mini fridge. I still have lots of different useful stuff that the Uni. of WA sent to my forestry/genetics class in high school. I hope to get them going in a few months or so. But enough of this. Need more pics of actives here. Tomorrow should bring more Stuntzii. Found them the last three days in a row.

The location where I found the baeos last week has been landscaped this morning. They basically just raked through the bark chips, and not all that thoroughly. What are the chances that any mycelium that was disturbed can recover? I'm not all to sure how resilient it can be?

It may not fruit again this season, but it should recover over the year and possibly come back with a vengeance!

Yes ive been doing just that, studying the ID's on here i actually bought "Pault Stamets - Psilocybin Mushrooms of the World" currently looking for another book, i dont plan to eat any mushrooms i find until you guys can 100% tell me there edible (not to put the responsiblilty on you) and my books say so, i do understand theres always that risk that they are poisonous. thanks for the warnings i assure you i dont take them lightly :P
