Cry about it? I find nothing positive about throwing beer cans out in the woods.
Also, you're making an assumption about someone you know nothing about.

ANYWAY back to the mushrooms

Today I found nothing but puffballs and LBMs

This hot weather is going to slow down this thread for sure

Yeah I'm tired of this fucking sun! Not a big fan of it in the first place, then it's not helping with the mushroom season.

Found a huge clump of what I believe were honey mushrooms outside a mall today. I'm going to go back tomorrow with a bag and snag em up for ID.

Been looking everywhere there are wood chips for cyans but no luck so far.

In general, do patches of stuntzii or any other species normally return each year so long as there is ample nutrients?

Check your spots!

It is supposed to be pretty warm, and not wet for the next few days so don't let the Caramel tops that popped up early dry up!

What do you guys think about golf course as Stuntzii habitat? seems like it would be pretty good.

Golf Courses and cemetarys are good, but only if they aren't mowed too frequently.

Nice find! Are you going to mist / water them to keep the heat under control? Or do they have a source of water?

They are in a fairly wet area, but I always have water with me on my numerous hunts just in case I find some dry fellas....

Sometimes I drink it all though.

Just a few oddballs here and there. Keep looking and you will find actives eventually.

Fall started yesterday, and yet it was hotter yesterday than any day this month!

Or it at least felt like it.:hissyfit:

I hate heat. It makes me crazy.
