I understand the need for spreading I am doing the same but like I was saying you dont need that many stem butts, I was not saying thit because I think you wont make that many transplants or are incapable its just all you need is a few and stick them in some good alder chips and bam you have a whole mother spawn now all you have to do is take pieces of wood chips around and put them with other wood chips. Plus the myc is way stronger with way more nutrience vs just stem butts. More chance of success with less environmental damage. If you care so much about the well being of our magical friends them be kind to them stop ripping out their body I remember reading that if you pull them out the whole myc mat can feel it in pain...

Well not sure why a book would be addressed for an understanding of the fungi's consciousness, but in my experience, I have learned and am learning to communicate effectively with the beings and am confident my efforts are overwhelmingly on the positive side of the spectrum for these magnificent beings.  There are many practices of accomplishing this, simply throwing a couple stem butts in a bunch of wood chips is not always the most effective method for inducing the tissues ability of myceliation.  On the nutrition note, you Oh and I would like to add, it seems you perhaps may base your opinion on a "size scale", are you seriously telling someone to scale down their efforts of benefiting this being?  I listen to them and others I know who are as well.  I would suggest strengthening your connection with them so you are able to offer your understandings and lessons to others who are in such need.  I hope you find an opportunity to entertain the idea of large scale benefit.  Blessings.

When I take a closer look at what the result of my connection to mushrooms is, I conclude, that it seems pretty much the same, Tikaani's opinion and way of talking/writing is based on.

As far as I understand his post (and I might be wrong, since English isn't my mother language, and there are probably aspects of spoken or written coherence, that I  don't quiet understand), he just accepted the bliss, one can experience when being confronted with his own extended consciousness, and dragged it into the "regular" state of being. So to say, the sense and understanding for nature and reasons you experience while "being under the influence", is remembered after the endeavor.

Personally this acceptation has made me a lot more balanced person. Most of our problems are made by ourselves anyway, dealing with eventualities and mind constructions of "what might or can happen".
Once I stopped giving a shit about these "problems", I experienced a heretofore unknown state of contentment and a much better understanding of what it means to experience the "here and now", or to experience at all.

The art is not to experiences this, but to accept it.

For me, it made life a lot easier and happier:smirk:

Lucky to have had these pretty little Cyans' growing in my yard this season(pierce county).

Among my historical ethnobotany follies includes the loss of about 30 plants to slugs and snails in a clear cut(the poor things didn't even make it out of their pots).  These seem to be an encore to that sick cosmic joke, I mean the worthless bastards can't get enough of these things.

I haven't gone through this whole thread so I hope I'm not being repetitious when I suggest the only sure way to keep them off your shrooms is to place saucers, mugs and bowls over them around sundown.  It sucks because it's tedious and you may not always be around to tend to them, but consider the benefits when the temp drops below freezing...  I'm hoping to get at least a few more good day(and nights) of growth in by keeping the frost off.  It's hard to be that diligent lately tho, I've been spaced out on these things for two weeks solid.

Oh yeah, and these(they came from the foothills...)

You may have plans but you dont need that many stem butts thats all im saying. And thebalance like I was saying in that post if you have a patch where there is lots of fruits the myc network of course will be better but a lot of people dont just go to one spot every year they roam and pick the lonely azures not in a patch and I can promise you that they dont have a mass myc network below them its in very selective spots. You picking style may be working but possibly because you have such a strong myc network and plus there is always spores lots of mushrooms together will creat lots of spores in an area yet again why I was saying sinle not in patches azures

Well this is your opinion, you are allowed, yet is based on your limited knowledge of my intentions, projects, and specifically my being.  I actually have created and will continue to add to a running mycelium bank and will be introducing and establishing networks in their current habitats and new areas.  I think it may be a bit off to assume whether it is a deem able amount or to assume someones intentions.  I am forever in communion with these beings and have begun to offer in return my service to them as a gesture of my gratefulness to their offerings of knowledge and activation of consciousness.  I do not collect "scout" individuals which, like you are inclined to believe, are potentially fruiting from a smaller isolated mycelial network;  all are from heavily producing networks that I have previously transplanted or have discovered.  Believe me, these amazing beings are my guide, activators, and allies.  The bond has become symbiotic;  the vitality of my spirit is dependent on the relationship that has become and that I will forever protect.  I hope you too find a similar relationship and would find your self inclined to understanding.  Much love all, DO SOMETHING TO BALANCE THE EQUATION YOU ALL CREATE, THE EQUATION OF YOUR EXISTENCE!  Blessings!
:peace::mushroom2::redpanda::mushroom2::peace:

You found them, they are yours to do what you wish. I support your efforts to build a better existance and in those efforts you are expanding the science. I read all the time about people collecting large amount of mushies to later transplant and spread out new patches. Thanks for the effort maybe someday I will find one of your large patches and continue in the propagation. If by chance you have any extra prints I would enjoy expanding and spreading the joy.

so i went out today on a whim, not really expecting much from my baeo spot. but to my suprise i found me some good ole liberty caps!! this is my first time finding this species in 5 years. i guess its the most common active around here but not for me. FINALLY, i can add another species under my belt.

while i was in such high spirits(:rasta:) i decided to venture off and check a new area

and found these guys!

hers a pic of the environment

i was so supprised to see these! when i parked i noticed a patch right next to the road! now those 3 pics above, im pretty sure they were ringers. but! only a few of them have the blue ring!?!? im thinking they got washed off or something cause it was supper wet there. if anyone thinks differently let me know. but im 99% sure they're ringers. i also found 3 really big almost rotten baeos! heres my haul all together.

Ringers ^

Libs^

Baeos^

really?? i know theres a few where the caps seem a little too open.....hmm. heres a better pic of all of them thats also zoomed. also, the spot where i found them was kinda random. it was behind these hedges, right at the bas from them. there was hay scattered around the area too. this was out in some new housing development.

my camera also died when i was out there so i cant take more pics of them. but i will try to later on tonight if im around.
