I'm surprised to see any actives coming up, around here they don't until about a month from now usually.
But I've also never found anything but cyanescens so maybe I should keep my eyes open for other actives. Not sure if there are any on the southern oregon coast but we'll see.

I give it like 2-3 weeks before things really start happening. 4-6 weeks and things will be in full swing.

Representing the monroe, Wa area! Found my first baeos ever and first actives of the season yesterday.
these things are hard as hell to take prints from, i tried with the most mature one without much success. Im experimenting with the stem-butts on cardboard/chips though.
These were found growing along side blue ringers(stuntzii) in nieghborhoods built a few years ago. We go by the motto now "where there's ringers, there's baeos" cause i found em by riding my bike on the sidewalk and stopping when we see patches of ringers in peoples lawns, eventually we stumbled across some.
we picked a few stuntzii we found by chance in a unlikely grass spot along the backroads on our way home.

Dont know what these are, but we found em with the ringers above and thought they were bluing when we found them, at home the bluing wasn't so apparent.

purple-brown sporeprint though

its been raining all day today, if you read this today, you better go hunting tomorrow.

Nice finds Topcorn!!!
I've seen those ones before that look like they're "blueing" but it's really just dark bruising.
