I found some libs today, two decent little patches. Some giant libs. I've never seen any libs really bruise blue before. Some of them were streaked with blue on the cap and a lot of them had an inch + of deep blue up the stem. The pic is not very good because it was a camera and also because they dried out a lot from the time I picked them till the time the pic was taken.
I'm not sure if you can see the big one in the middle but it was a giant. It's cap was so developed that it completely flipped around the edges.
86 libs 9 caps 10 stems
I guess I lost a cap?

Was this also a cow pasture? Or manured lawn?
Thanks

Cow pasture, It's actually liker super poo water. All the cows have to walk by the pond just to get from the barn to any other part of the pasture.
I never before thought to check near blackberries as well. The really tall ones and the really blue ones I had to pull out of a huge blackberry bush.

I've been hunting in an area which sounds similar and haven't yet found any mushies, but I found a whole lot of blackberries =)

nice finds ShockValue, are those very potent? They seem to be because Gymnopilus luteofolius is a wood lover i believe.

It is a wood lover but out of the Psilocybe genus. It is not very potent and quite bitter to eat.

Nice finds those Bottle Caps
The Gyms were found in a large, old, pile of beauty bark. Unsure of what kind, but I know it's been sitting at least 1 year, probably 2 or 3. I'm not sure if the age is important in this case, but maybe

Mine were in a dark brown, soily, woochip mulch, with a sprinkler, in front of condos.

please read the rules, take a loot at the mushroom hunting faq [which will answer your question], use google to research your questions first [which would also answer it] and remember that this thread is for posting finds.
