These are my first fresh shrooms ever in life. Eaten tons of dried cubes, these taste better lol. I have read potency is increased in wet shrooms, so shall I find out!

Nice find Myco99, It does feel good to find these lil' boogers after putting in the effort. As the smell goes, To me it's more chemical, A "sweet chemical stench"...
Yesterday when I was out hunting I caught a whiff of Weilii in this one spot I walked by and then on the way back. It was tall grass mixed with baby pines that edged a treeline but couldn't find anything! It was the stench, Thought maybe it was me at first, from eating Weiliis the nite before but I kept smelling it in that spot! Gotta check it again! Anybody Ever Smell Weilii Before They Visually Find Them??? Congrats 2 MYCO99

Thanks much. I will admit to a slight "chemicallyness" to the smell. Eaten 4 since 11 am, amazing.

How long does the season last for these puppies? I'm taking a road trip to go camping in north Georgia for winter break

Man, I meant I thought the Weilii smell was coming out of my pores, like alcohol the next day! If anybody who hasn't smelled Weilii before disregard the "Man-Juice" smell. Weiliiinmyyard is gonna have folks sniffing their pits and sniffing their finds for a match...

Ghost, I think they can pop up between april-december but if you come to visit make it the westside of ATL.

The Weiliis are good, I like 'em alot. It's lil' different then your normal cubie. Weiliis make me think about shit but I also get good visuals in low-lighting

I felt exactly the same, and what a treat they were. Weilii have been the best visual experience I have had on any shrooms. The taste is so strong though, especially when you chew it thoroughly, very chemically.
I know people are saying that fresh is stronger, but I have not noticed the difference in strength. Flavor, yes fresh is better. I dried some of my first batch in the direct sun for about 5 days. It was like high 80's and these things baked out in the heat all day long. They were crispy cracker dry, i read that the heat will make them weaker, this was not the case for me. I had an excellent trip off just two little fatties.

Between 11 am and 2 pm I ate 5 small fresh ones. I started with 1 and then increased slowly. I'd equate it to maybe an 1/8 of dried cubes in terms of effect. Stronger visuals and body buzz than cubes too. I have them drying out now and I'm gonna take maybe 5g dried sometime next week.

ha. not from up close but if you are smelling the air around your patch. it could be another plant idk but i smell it everytime i go out there. not like i immediatly placed the scent, or thats what i wanted it to smell like. hahaha. maybe its just my patch

I went out this morning about 10AM, my purpose was to take habitat shots to help clarify what type of surroundings I am finding these in. I specifically focused on my pine beetle theory, which to me is just a fact.
To anyone that wants to find large qty's of weilii you must hunt the dead pine logs along with the other specifics I have given throughout this thread.
Trust me, very rarely can you spot the weilii from just walking by, at least in the way I hunt these. You will have to get cut up and prepare to sweat, but it is always worth it.
I have taken hundreds of photos but will only post a few since I am running out of space on this website. Hopefully this helps guys. Get out today, they are all over, you just need to look.
The pictures will be seperated by each group, I have uncovered more debris each time a pic was taken.

haha he gets me! and whoever said fruit loops.. i just stuck my nose in my container with 2 oz dry and thats exactly what i smell. fruit loops. its funny i think i noticed this before but blamed it on what i smell loudly from my pocket right now.. lol. smells like fruit loops also
nice finds ngh, why would you want to COMB through tall grass when they never cluster up like THAT. you got it good in the woods man i figure theres some in the thick woods by my trail.

I looked today in Both Bartow and Cherokee counties. No luck though I id find some Amanita jacksonii.

man northgahunt, u got it made with this pine beetle, deat pines theory (fact). i don't know if there are any dead pines around my area.
