So my hunt was a little disorganized today. I got off to a slow start, then I lost my walking stick then most of my time was spent back tracking to find it. However in the end it came out decent.
Here's some pictures:
Chilln

I couldn't tell ya who's doing who on this triple stack!

Tons of these but I didn't bother picking, however I did read they were edible in my field guide.

Purple and hiding

I spotted these beauties from afar, had to cross a creek to get to them.

^Closeup

possible Sub?, or old cube?

Total harvest

It seemed based on how wet I got the field was too wet, I found a lot of big dead cubes, and there wasn't many pins, most the shit had been washed/blown out by the rain.
To the two dudes I saw when leaving, take the advice I gave and also take care of the field. Sorry if i bugged you all out, saw you take off running at first, hahah....

I see a gopher tortoise, jack.
But yeah definitely in my area things are still very soaked and it may be a few more days for ideal conditions.
However these days of continual rain have my hopes high for what kind of yield I'm going to get once it finally dries up!

I was making a JOKE - as most y'all can understand. I love this thread!!! You make me jealous.
I currently live is Spain, and it is dry dry dry... 7 years hunting, and some hard work too, real elbow grease involved, and still no luck finding magic over here, although I've found thousands of beautiful shroomies along the way.
So - y'all are still lucky bastards in my opinion.
And maybe I am a hick... I am from Oklahoma! hahahahaha

That may work at first but eventually your going to end up in cuffs or shot full of rock salt. It took me over 6 months of steady recon to find that perfect field and it's been good to me for a long long time now.

Hasn't happened yet.. I'll let you know.
Cuffs? Sure, but the most you can be charged for in the state of florida is trespassing. Assuming you don't self-incriminate.

810.09 Trespass on property other than structure or conveyance.--
(1)(a) A person who, without being authorized, licensed, or invited, willfully enters upon or remains in any property other than a structure or conveyance:
1. As to which notice against entering or remaining is given, either by actual communication to the offender or by posting, fencing, or cultivation as described in s. 810.011; or
2. If the property is the unenclosed curtilage of a dwelling and the offender enters or remains with the intent to commit an offense thereon, other than the offense of trespass,
commits the offense of trespass on property other than a structure or conveyance.
(b) As used in this section, the term "unenclosed curtilage" means the unenclosed land or grounds, and any outbuildings, that are directly and intimately adjacent to and connected with the dwelling and necessary, convenient, and habitually used in connection with that dwelling.
(2)(a) Except as provided in this subsection, trespass on property other than a structure or conveyance is a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
(b) If the offender defies an order to leave, personally communicated to the offender by the owner of the premises or by an authorized person, or if the offender willfully opens any door, fence, or gate or does any act that exposes animals, crops, or other property to waste, destruction, or freedom; unlawfully dumps litter on property; or trespasses on property other than a structure or conveyance, the offender commits a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
(c) If the offender is armed with a firearm or other dangerous weapon during the commission of the offense of trespass on property other than a structure or conveyance, he or she is guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084. Any owner or person authorized by the owner may, for prosecution purposes, take into custody and detain, in a reasonable manner, for a reasonable length of time, any person when he or she reasonably believes that a violation of this paragraph has been or is being committed, and that the person to be taken into custody and detained has committed or is committing such violation. In the event a person is taken into custody, a law enforcement officer shall be called as soon as is practicable after the person has been taken into custody. The taking into custody and detention in compliance with the requirements of this paragraph does not result in criminal or civil liability for false arrest, false imprisonment, or unlawful detention.
(d) The offender commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084, if the property trespassed is a construction site that is legally posted and identified in substantially the following manner: "THIS AREA IS A DESIGNATED CONSTRUCTION SITE, AND ANYONE WHO TRESPASSES ON THIS PROPERTY COMMITS A FELONY."
(e) The offender commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084, if the property trespassed upon is commercial horticulture property and the property is legally posted and identified in substantially the following manner: "THIS AREA IS DESIGNATED COMMERCIAL PROPERTY FOR HORTICULTURE PRODUCTS, AND ANYONE WHO TRESPASSES ON THIS PROPERTY COMMITS A FELONY."
(f) The offender commits a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084, if the property trespassed upon is an agricultural site for testing or research purposes that is legally posted and identified in substantially the following manner: "THIS AREA IS A DESIGNATED AGRICULTURAL SITE FOR TESTING OR RESEARCH PURPOSES, AND ANYONE WHO TRESPASSES ON THIS PROPERTY COMMITS A FELONY."
(g) Any person who in taking or attempting to take any animal described in s. 372.001(10) or (11), or in killing, attempting to kill, or endangering any animal described in s. 585.01(13) knowingly propels or causes to be propelled any potentially lethal projectile over or across private land without authorization commits trespass, a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084. For purposes of this paragraph, the term "potentially lethal projectile" includes any projectile launched from any firearm, bow, crossbow, or similar tensile device. This section shall not apply to any governmental agent or employee acting within the scope of his or her official duties.
(3) As used in this section, the term "authorized person" or "person authorized" means any owner, or his or her agent, or any law enforcement officer whose department has received written authorization from the owner, or his or her agent, to communicate an order to leave the property in the case of a threat to public safety or welfare.

No signs posted at my usual field, at all. But thanks for the heads up! I haven't been asked to leave the field by the owner, either..
Soooo.. I'm left with a possible misdemeanor charge. Seeing as this would be a first time offense for me, I doubt much would come of it besides possible community service or parole.
Thanks for the compliment ReefaCheefa. I don't consider myself wise, but it's always nice when others do..

so, hey boys! tommorrow we hit the fields again and the good, no GREAT news is that i just bought a new camera and i will be using it for the first time to capture some pics of what i find hope to have LOTS of photos... man, im so exxxcited. anyone been out in the centralFL (orlando) area the last week? things still looking good? i sure hope so.
i need to know how to tell if they are mature or not? just because theyre small doesnt mean they are not potent, does it? because ive got about 6 caps and stems... from the first search, and they look mighty tasty. very tiny tho... like dime size when they dried out. i just figure it isnt enough.
also, are there any poisonous twins to the pan cyans? you know, just in case. these are the only questions i can think of at the moment. and thanks for the info on trespassing laws. very nice to know.
LOVE IT! <3
any random advice for me?

Small shrooms will still be potent, of course you get more for the picking when you get them big, I'd say unless your good at identifying don't pick any pins just to be sure you get what your looking for.
Tomorrow should be perfect no rain today will give things a little time to dry out, but stay humid. Be careful, don't lose your camera!-haha.
Also you may have better luck looking for cubensis, I may be wrong but I tend to see the ratio of cubes/copes 10/1. I also have seen them more when it's slightly cooler out?

Went out to my favorite field a couple days ago and found over 1,000 grams wet.
 and some close ups...
about four of them had veils still intact but they were too large to leave behind.

low res pics are from a phone, apologies. there are some (about 6) non-cubes mixed in there as well. happy hunting.
