ALright so ive downloaded and installed. I think I did everything right (dont have a helix though)
So do I get a helix after its done some work> I think my computer really really sucks because its still at 0/300 lol
Does it take awhile to show on the site, cuz I checked the shroomery user list and im not on it, then i searched the site for cubie and it didnt have any matches.
:edit. Nvm guys I think I got everything worked out. I still want a cool helix though.

you have to enter your folding@home username into your shroomery profile after you have done at least 1 WU. then you get a helix.

How long is the graphics program supposed to stay at 0/1500? It's been over a half-hour, should I restart it? And how long does it take for one wave to finish?

Try going to the edit info section and entering your folding at home user name in the folding at home slot, If it accepts it then your good, if not wait a day or 2.

it took me about 3 days to complete my fist one, then the day after that my F@H username was accepted here in the shroomery setup.. It seems the folding server resets its stats in the middle of the night, I guess around midnight GMT.. that is around the time my stat showed from the previous days finish..
I got an older laptop I am using it on.. and the first group size i got was 1500..lol
hey its for a good cause though, that's what matters.. I don't think I'll be getting top prize with the setup I currently have, but oh well..

Yes, In your account settings here, go to the personal info section then scroll down a bit and you will see the space to enter your folding@home username. It might take a couple days before it is available for tracking

Mostly, with the exception of people who fold with a ps3, as that tends to spank even the highest end processors and gpu chips.
