Can't fart and get painfully bloated 2

I almost always have to force out a fart. Sometimes I can feel it bubble down through my small intestine but to get it all the way out I have to push it.
Usually when I am in public for any length of time I end up getting painfully bloated because I can't stealthfully slip out a fart when I want to. It also seems like it is severely uncomfortable for me to have even a little bit of gas in my gut. I am afraid I have some sort of obstruction, although I don't have much trouble pooping.
I think I have been like this for years, and am pretty sure I've had internal hemorrhoids for several years too (my butt usually gets sore when I poop).
It's usually nothing terrible, but it can be in certain situations. I started taking psyllium husk to see if it might help, but immediate results do not seem apparent.
Has anyone else dealt with a similar bloating problem? I am not sure what else to do besides taking charcoal or beano to try to prevent gas.

I think you have too much poop inside you at any given time. (regardless of whether you poop often or not)
Moar Fiber, less food overall. Should help.

Well, I get pretty much fiber and don't eat a whole lot, so that's why I'm afraid something is mechanically awry. But naturally, eating more produces more gas and worsens the problem.

^ get a life douchebag this isn't the psychedelic experience forum.
To the OP: Try taking activated charcoal capsules - this is supposed to work wonders on bloating.
$6.82 for 100 capsules:

This is the review page so it'll give you an idea of what people use it for and as you can see from other people's experience it works really well. I've never actually tried it myself.

I've had problems with this in the past. Stretching exercises got rid of the problem, you may want to try some yoga.

Thanks guys, I will do a few yogic stretches each morning (any ones in particular?) and keep a couple charcoal pills in my pocket.

i had the same problem for years then one day as i was driving down the road the pain got worse. so i pull over and try to move around in different positions to see if i can shift it out but no luck.
so after a few min it gets worse to the point where i have to let my wife take over driving and take me to the hospital. it take everything in me to sit still as the pain has me just about paralyzed in my seat.
i get to the hospital and they said that i have a blockage in my intestine.they said that they have to get it out soon because my intestine could rupture. so they give me all sorts of different thing to try then i finally go to the bathroom after 6 hours or some of the worst pain in my life!!!
it was internal hemorrhoids that was causing a partial blockage as you thought in your first post and taking pain killers for a back problem dried me out to the point where it would not go by and built up so nothing(not even gas) could get through.
i have to take laxative daily now so it does not happen again because i am still on the pain killers. it has been almost 10 years now and still have problems and have to live with it daily.
good luck

My friend's dad had a problem with Oxy's and they built up a wad in his insides over the years. By the time he was in his 50s he got constipated for over a week and had to go to the doctor for it. They found a big ball of pill-matter inside of him.

OP, one thing that might be worth trying is a salt water flush.
1 liter warm water. 2 teaspoons non iodized sea salt.
mix that together and try to drink it within 5 minutes.
Do this on an empty stomach, preferably after you wake up. And also, make sure you do not need to go anywhere for about an hour-hour and a half after drinking it. It will flush out your intestines. and when you gotta go poop it will be like a waterfall on-and-off over the next 30 or so minutes.lol
Occasionally I do this for a few days in a row.

Supposedly Epsom Salt is the best for that.

Personally I haven't tried Epsom salt. I've stuck with non iodized sea salt, they sell it in 1 pound bags at a health food store nearby, and 1lb lasts a long time... it works.
where I got this from was the "lemonade diet", i read it, its a small book. I never did the diet, but the benefits of the flush sounded good.

Wow anon 3 I am sorry you have such problems. Have you tried taking psyllium husk instead of laxatives (because it is supposed to be healthier)? It would probably take some time for your body to adjust. Also, have you tried charcoal like has been suggested to treat the bloating pain?
One more tip, is to try cold showers for whatever painful condition you have. Immersion in cold is supposed to have a significant analgesic effect, which may help you wean down your pain med dosage.

Also, have you looked into surgery? There is supposed to be something called "banding" that works well for internal hemorrhoids. I just wouldn't want to become incontinent, but it doesn't sound like that would happen.

yea surgery here in the states is super expensive!!
1500 just for them to go in and look... and 1500 for them to go in and take them off...
then i have to go back yearly because they say that they usually come back and that is 1500 dollars every time :-(
found ways to deal with it
also HOT water works best for me, so hot that i can barely even get in the tub. ahhhhhh lol
going to check out the psyllium husk :-)
thank you
