Man for some reason the shrooms in my field keep getting smaller and smaller. Is there any reason for this? All the ones I found today are maybe 2 inches long.

If i see some cubes that aren't fully fanned out should i leave them and come back the next day?
I'm seeing a lot of small ones, and wonder if they are going to grow any if i leave them alone.... what should i do??

(Icetrickles) Contacted me today and this was the message I got.

This guy is one of two things:
1) Law enforcement trying to bust the website or its users
2) Lazy drug buyers or dealers who are putting the shroomery at legal risk

I see in one of those pics.. you just pulled the shroom out of the cow patty.
And the Mycelium came with it.
You should cut the stem right above the mycelium (white fuzzy) with scissors, so you dont disturb its growth. or so I have been told.
Just letting you know I have had alot better yield since I started cutting them.

Id say about 100 or so people demolish this field on an almost daily basis. I still leave with lbs on top of lbs of fresh mushrooms without even denting over 20 % of this property.
Thanks for the advice though.
Anyone know whats up with that cube? nice meaty fruit its just weird.

cutting the mushrooms with scissors doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a better yield from the field in the future. all it means is you're getting less than you would be getting by plucking the entire mushroom. (if using scissors you leave a bit of the stem there which will just rot in time.)
people just use scissors because they're scared of poop, and to keep everything tidy.
i know for a fact when I'm in the fields I just want to get the fruits and get the hell out of there, who gives a fuck about the poop, clean them at home.

I agree get what you can and get out of there in less you own the field. It will have another flush whether you cut them or pinch them.
