Unfortunately, I still haven't had the pleasure of trying out nitrous.

Nitrous is only worth it to me if I'm on something else. I use to do 3-5 boxes(of 24) of nitrous alone in one setting and after about 10 times of that nitrous changed on me and lost the magic. It's still great if I'm on something else but I wonder how much greater it could be if i didn't abuse it so much in a short period of time.

I know everyone is different but heads up if you want to keep that nitrous magic strong.

I haven't done nitrous in forever, but when I did it was only while on LSD or Mushrooms or other psychedelics. However I distinctly remember a point that I would reach where, after inhaling too much unmixed (with air) nitrous a weird "fuzz" would grow in my trip and expand out, erasing the crystal visions and replacing it with what I can only describe as "fuzz", this brown or black impenetrable clump of fuzziness. I think this was the point when my brain was getting starved for oxygen. It was a weird ass feeling/vision but I learned to avoid it at all costs just by making sure I got some oxygen with every inhalation.

I once did 12 boxes (24 ct) in 5 hours. It's not something I'm proud of and not something I enjoyed. After the first few boxes I was just habitually cracking them. I accompanied my friend while he was running errands and he drove me to meet up with people that wanted to buy boxes (I had 4 cases, 100 boxes 2400 whippits). So I was just habitually cracking chargers throughout the day.

Things got weird, really weird. Not something I ever wish to do again. I liken it to redosing amphetamines or alcohol after a day or two binge. It's no longer about the enjoyment, it's keeping from coming crashing back to reality and the potential withdrawl or hangover.

Not that a nitrous hangover is particularly bad, but once you pop..... you sure as hell aint gonna stop.

QFT!!!!!!!

N2O is a super-strong psychedelic, but over-use makes you pretty much immune to it unless you're tripping, and the immunity is PERMANENT!!

Take it from a sad, over-user who can only enjoy it while tripping now - for the rest of his life!

Bullshit it's not!

3.5 years is permanent enough.  The magic is gone, dude.

Just keep on doing 7 or 8 boxes a day for a few months.  Then you'll only be able to enjoy it while tripping.

Done it and then some. I spent pretty much from 2004-05 in a nitrous fog. A case or 2 a week of whippits (sometimes a case in a day) and the odd 40lb tank here and there. It was literally my crack cocaine. I'm not proud at all, but I'm trying to paint a picture that I've done enough nitrous to have an idea of what you are talking about.

Two weeks ago my buddy gave me 10 chargers and they were just as sweet as the first time I tried them. Well maybe not as sweet because I knew what to expect. But they hit me the same.

Just for the hell of it (after no N2O for 5 months) I just sliced the seal on a box of of PureWhip and I'm typing this reply on a triple-hit.

Good luck, dude.  Keep it up.  You'll get here.

It's true.. for me.  I find it to be permanent, and yes people are different I'm talking in my experience. People should think about that before using it, if it doesn't never ever lose it's magic for you, great!

If it does, just keep some boxes around for when your tripping.

I'd never like to go there again. Many thousands upon thousands of dollars were spent on a drug that was as addictive as crack to me. I was a habitual user, to the point of almost losing myself, my friends and almost my life.

Every time someone reminds me of Nitrous, I remember all the times I used to park my car in the shopping center parking lot near my friends house and crack box after box.... (yes they were purewhips, creamright owners probably payed off their morgage and boat payments multiple times from me alone)

...and just sat there cracking as many as I can to get that phished out feeling of pure unadulterated bliss.

Ya... It was like crack. It really was. And every time I ordered a case or had a tank set up, it never coincided with when my friends wanted to eat mushrooms or LSD, so I just sucked it all up... Figuratively and literally.
