No habitat pictures because I went at night, but these three buddies gave me a fun trip.

I had time to indulge in some field picked Ps. Cubensis this weekend and found the best way EVER to consume them (at least for me).
Get your blender out. Add a tray of ice cubes. Spin blender until ice is smooth and chunky.
Cut up mushrooms with scizzors into very small pieces (or coffee grind them - I don't have a coffee grinder).
Spread small pieces of shrooms out and add enough lemon juice to lightly cover them (lemon tek...lemon juice activates the active compounds in the mushrooms). After a minute or 2 add them to the blender.
Add some Gatoraide to blender, add 1 banana, and a couple strawberries. Add some ginger ale or moutain dew or juice. Also toss in a few chewable vitamin C's.
Voila. You can't even taste the shrooms. The mixture tastes AWESOME, especially in this Florida heat. Next thing you know your having FUN!
Try it and let me know what you think. It tastes friggen great!

central west coast- new to picking, not to eating shrooms. pretty dry around here, no ones selling. i havent taken shrooms in about a year and im now starting to get a wild hair up my ass to eat them lol.

Went out to my field yesterday. Found a decent amount of cubes, yet less then any other hunt this season. It's a big field so the fact that other people go out there for the wonders of nature never really bothered me. That is, until yesterday.
Upon entering the field I've hunted for four years I was in shock to see trash scattered everywhere. Candy and cookie wrappers, empty plastic grocery bags, beer and soda cans, even a plastic bag filled with what looked like gooey cubies. This was just totally uncalled for. Whoever was out there wasn't discretely hunting mushrooms they were having a f***ing party. It's people like that that give shroomers a bad name. If ranchers didn't need to worry about damage to property or litter, those of us who have to sneak around probably wouldn't have to(save those who really feel passionately against it).
Sorry about that. It just pisses me off something fierce to see such blatant disrespect.

Sup everyone! I went out in volusia county saturday walked for about 3 hours and 10 miles and found 10 or so cubes, they were very sparse. I enjoyed the hike and now have 9 grams of dried cubes. What a slow season, this is my first find after 6 or 7 hunts.
My fav and anyone else who I've given them too's way to consume shrooms is: put shrooms in blender: blend into powder: let dust settle: put powder into ice cube tray I like 2.2 grams per cube: melt hershey bar for 30-45 sec: pour choclate over mushroom until cube is 2/3 of the way full and stir well with a toothpick until no longer any powdered mushrooms: Bang tray on ground to pack the choclate and stick in freezer for 30 minutes. Badda Bong!
