Got a nice zoom zoom to it, lol and Im also disappointed how I mistreated this thing, making it crumpled.

This is the only other life form ( of fungi ) in LA.

Yeah...  I don't know, the cap looks kind of like Psathyrella or Bolbitius, but the gills look awfully pale!

Went for a walk near my house this morning, found a few things. These are all very near a swamp in SE LA, the first few in a mulch bed in my garden.




These are in my backyard






These were all much closer to the swamp, all growing in or near small clusters of very young pine and cypress trees and in a mixture of pine needles and mulch.
















And my personal favorite...



Going out tonight to look for some actives, so I'll have those posted tomorrow hopefully.
