Cow fields in Central Florida are the shit. Part of a 600g haul.

I'm sorry. I forgot to pull up the whole quote box in reference to your response to my first post.

You said I hadn't consulted the forum rules, though I read through them before I posted. Could you clarify what I did wrong, if anything?

Hey guys, just found this site after trying to learn more about shrooms and picking after my first successful picking two nights ago....

I'm in SWFL, and could use a little help with some safe fields to visit.

No big deal.

I gotcha.

Well, since I've learned how fun it is to go adventuring around looking for shrooms, I still enjoy reading about all the stuff other people are finding and experiencing.

More generally, can anyone speak about their general method for looking around? What they bring, what they wear, what time(s) are best for looking, picking, and such? I'm still very new to alot of this, and though I've found a few here and there, I don't have any land of my own and I'd like to minimize my exposure as much as possible.

A lot of people hate it when a link is posted in response to an inquiry:

http://books.google.com/books?id=10HiGVo94FUC&printsec=frontcover&dq=psilocybin+mushrooms+of+the+world

Check this book out. You can read a LOT of pages for free online and it's a fantastic read. You'll get hunting tips too!

I see a lot of posts of people picking cubes that look way less than desirable to consume. I might just be picky, but I only bring back near perfect cubes and copes. And when I get them home I cut off the stem at the cap and I lay them out neatly and clean the cap of each one and put a fan on them for a week or more. That way when they dry out you can consume them without the gritty taste of sand or shit. Just preference, I guess. Also, I cut them up with a blade so I don't get shit in my bag or on them. Does anyone else on here have a special way of picking and drying?

I clean them, but you seem to be really picky. To each his own though. I like mine to look decent, but I'll eat the not so great looking ones too, or just make a tea with those.

This is really making me wish I knew where/how to hunt :frown:
I hate buying shrooms when I'm so close to so many fields (I'm from Orlando), I'm just afraid I'd pick something poisonous.

I'm in the same boat. When I did go picking, I went through a cow field and only picked up cubes (though now I know that many of the other kind I discarded were probably also psychoactive).

But, I've gone picking enough to know that for me to buy any would be painful and infuriating.

I have no lack of shrooms from the field, but can you offer up any info on how to go about that? Or are there instructions on the shroomery? Probably is... Just curious. Don't hate me for not searching, lol. Just wanted to respond to your comment.
