Even if the doomsday prophecies are correct, the world will last through most of 2012. The big day isn't until December 21.

lol, I did see something interesting lately talking about the apocalypse believed to happen on 2012, the word apocalypse means a revealing of truth. Fire and brimstone and an ending of civilization, may not be what's in store for use.

2012 will not bring about physical armageddon. rather a spiritual one. consciousness will either evolve or die, leaving humanity nonexistent, yet those who evolve living in absolute spiritual unity.
and thus this poll will remain here. for the earth will remain here. yet humanity will not.

2012 isn't the end of the world. It's the end of an age. End of Pisces; beginning of Aquarius. However; there are speculations that the astronomical stars/age of Aquarius doesn't actually begin until somewhere around the year 2150. That's right, I said, "around". It's hard to understand or see which age we are in. There are other speculations that say we are already in the age of Aquarius. So in that case; 2012 already happened.
Fear not; most things you see among the subject is to simply grab your attention, via the television and etc.
There are many things, however, that are occuring around the 2012 due date. But none are related to that of, "Doomsday".
I also believe consciousness is evolving. Evolution brings life; not death.

what is this doomsday prophecy you are taking about id like to see your sources here im reading a book called return of the quatzequotl and there is no such prophecy in the myan culture. it is just the end of the calender. it restarts on dec 22 it has happned 5 times before. the dec 21 prophecy just says that there will be a change in the collective concious of the entire planet. i think you have been watching to much tv. but if i am wrong here please correct me ill be sure to pass it on to the author of the book
