well it finally rained so someone better have some luck or I'm going to kill myself!! lol
went for a long walk in kings park today and there were heaps of fungi growing including a few of these giant specimens.
and some of these which I think are a type of amarita

You were right about the first one it is "Volvariella speciosa"
And that funny orange one I posted is called a "Yellow Brain Fungus"!! lol
Latin name of "Tremella mesenterica group (incl. T. aurantia)"

interesting...when you speak of in town what town do you speak of? or is that forbidden info? im real keen for mass mushies already! been sussing out some new spots which could deliver the goods. will check on friday or the weekend. sad to see the pine forrests in balingup gone. that area was killa back in the day.
