Best way to clean used slants

What's the best way to extract the agar from a test tube and then clean the tube so it can be used again?

Is dish soap a no-no to clean with?

I wash my glass petri dishes and slants with dish soap.

I dry them in the oven at 200F.

You may want a test tube brush to clean them up:
