Alive 2007. I love Daft Punk and that selection especially. Incredible stuff.

he's got a point. if I had a nickel for everytime someone mentioned Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Doors, or even BoC, I could retire. seems like many people have very limited musical palettes
venture outside major record labels, there is a lot of good music out there that isn't on Sony, Virgin, Electra, or Capitol Records. of course everyone and their mom has heard of the Beatles, who were pretty much overglorified pop artists; Frank Zappa, a real musical genius, even called them out

Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon", or "The Wall"
and 1200 Micrograms' "1200 Micrograms"
-------------------- "I believe with the advent of acid we discovered new way to think and it had to
do with piecing together new thoughts of mind. Why is it that people think it's
so evil? What is it about it that there is scares people so deeply? Because they
are afraid that there is more to reality than they have ever confronted. That
there are doors that they're afraid to go in and they don't want us to go in
there either because if we go in, there we might learn something that they
don't know. And that makes us a little out of their control. " - Ken Kessey

I like listening to all of Pantera's albums, starting from Cowboys from hell, to Reinventing the Steel. Then after that, I'll usually listen to some Techno, lords of acid is good

Everybody has already mentioned Pink Floyd, but the album in particular that would be described as a divine pyschedelic journey to me (other than than obvious stuff) would actually be Atom Heart Mother (Not the album just the suite).

You may have heard of "Dead Can Dance" (awesome world music group)
Any of these DEAD CAN DANCE albums are just amazing for tipping. Very angelic and mystical:
A Passage in Time, Spiritchaser, Within the Realm of a Dying Sun
