Well actually! Unemployed at the moment. Aha. The recession is making it a bitch to get a job round here D=

Man, I found my first rhizomorph patch in wellis a couple of days ago. didn't destroy it, & left a few babys so i'm pretty sure it wasn't yours. i've never tried these before and have a bunch of them about 2.5cm wide. can anyone tell me what's a good dosage with these rare shrooms? I've heard they're pretty potent!

I'd almost say the opposite. Make sure you boil them if the have little almost invisible bugs infested through them as all the ones I've found tend to have.
I've only had them once but had a good 15 or so same size as yours, boiled them up into a tea and had a come up effect but after an hour I couldn't feel the trip going any further.
Munch away and let us know how it goes! I'd recommend going with 20 - 30 or so grams fresh and just sit back and enjoy the ride. I think Inski has tried these and reported them to be quite potent however they weren't for me?
What area was it in? The patch I found was out Seaview ways between Lower Hutt and Eastbourne.

mine were found out j-ville way. in another thread someone said about 2-3 was a good trip! and another guy in the same thread split 9 between him & his brother and reported a level 5 trip so I got my hopes up that these are pretty potent. are you sure you didn't boil it too hard? that can reduce potency a lot. my ones don't have nearly as many worms as the wereroas, subs & aust's I've been picking!

Heres a tea that always works well for me, Double the water to shroom ratio eg, If you got 100mm of shrooms add 200mm of water, add 1 squeezed lemon juice and boil down to just under half the level of the remaining mushrooms use a potato masher and squeeze em round whilst boiling down strain and enjoy.

Boiling the mushrooms for a long time will degrade the actives in it. I have dosed on Weraroa fresh and they are potent. 3-5 of these will be enough. If you feel like making a tea, boil water, let stand, put chopped mushrooms in, leave to steep for 5-10 minutes, strain and enjoy.

What I am gonna say needs to be discussed, I might be wrong. But I have found pouches that looked pretty much exactly like wareroas maybe a bit more yellowish which were inactive. They were growing in exactly the same habitats, actually, in spots where I usually find active Wareroas.
Anyone came across these inactive Wareroas?
Insky, what do you think?
I usually take three or four fair sized pouches and reach level 4. As i posted on another thread, I reckon Wareroas are the most potent shrooms I've tried, way more pleasurable and visuals than the cops cyanescens growing in Raro.

Yes, you are probably finding Weraroa virescens which is not active! I also suspect there is another species apart from but very similar to W. novae-zelandiae that is active, more collections and study are needed! inski..

It wasn't Virescens, I am pretty sure. As you said Inski, It probably was another species related to W Novae zelandiae, I am sure it was inactive tho.

well i tried my 'rhisomorphs'. i may have reduced their potency (can someone comment on this?), thinking that i'd be taking them at a later date I chopped them finely, put them in a jar of water and freezed them, thinking that there's nowhere for the psilocy(bi)n to go but into the water. Anyway, by the time they were pretty much frozen we decided to trip so I sat the jar in a pot of hot water until it was thawed enough to tip in with the water. Then I added some lemon juice, bought it to a simmer, and let sit for about 30 minutes. I then added some honey, poured the whole lot into a coffee plunger, and poured 3 cups.
we had 8 big ones and about 8 small ones between 3 of us. the trip took at least an hour to come on and was unlike any mushroom trip i've had before. very euphoric, plenty of hysterical laughing and with an mdma like quality to it. Over all very nice, could have been stronger and not much in the way of visuals.

Has any1 experienced muscle cramps from these? I had abit 2 much and I almost completely lost the use of my right arm and leg when trippin on these one day. Made my 1 hour walk home pretty drawn out. A bit freaky, and another reason to not trip by urself...

Nope, never bro. It might not be because of the shrooms but because of your diet, I've heard not enough salt or not enough fluid could cause muscle cramps.
That must have been a pretty freaky trip!

Not cramps but had my legs turn to jelly on me night was a freaky feeling couldnt feel anything from the waist down I think because i was constantly dosing throughout the day played a big part in it because ive never had any problems with large single hit dosages.

Pretty dry out there the last 2 weeks or so it seems. Very little yield from my patches if any.

Bedtime! Ahh good memories. I've still got it on a VHS I recorded of TV2's movie Milo and Otis I think they played late 1992 which is when I recorded it. Gotta love NZ TV!
