Yes it was quite dry but I was surprised to find it under those conditions. I was actually looking for edibles around some quercus spp. and just stumbled across it by accident after deciding to extend the search radius. And unfortunately no boletales

I found what looked like a sub today there was no blueing but looked very like one, only it was fried as so who knows. maybe the season will come in early? the rain is being good, but it doesn't seem cold enough. Fuck yeah can't wait to go hunting

Found it two weeks ago but decided against picking cause I wasn't sure if the Gymnopilus sp are active enough to eat down here.Anyone got further information?

I was surprised to find the above specimen as in my opinion it was too old to have grown after the last Rain. The area definitely did not receive extra watering but was quite shady with eucalyptus. It grew right next to what might be an agaricus spp. (one can see the gills in the second picture).
