Just went out today to check the local patches. There is absolutely nothing, just random non-actives, but they are absolutely EVERYWHERE!
1.

2.

ID on the 2nd lot of mushrooms?

I can't help but think it'd be a good idea to clone and print that first little trooper.
Some stubborn genetics if its fruiting without much rain. Thats gotta be a good sign.
I dare say it'll be potent as hell too.

Same thing crossed my mind seconds after finding it. Printed just fine and clone is, well, cloning . Unfortunately I can't access my proper equipment to also give some microscopic input. That will have to wait some time.

How would you go about cloning? Is it simply just tapping the cap over likely areas suitable for colonisation?

Has anyone found pins after this rain, or is it still too warm?

I've seen a lot of inactives in the more mountainous part of east melbourne, i guess that is a good sign.
Im so eager, when i look at pictures of subs from previous years, i can nearly smell them drying in my room under the fan... That sweet smell...

Awesome. I've also been counting the days not to mention temps and rainfall

Went for a hunt yesterday and checked six or seven of my regular spots.
Found quite a few inactives of different varieties, but no sign of any Muscaria or Psilocybes yet...

The weather this week is a good sign. Almost all of the lows are 11 degrees. Once it drops a couple more D. we should be all smiling wide:D
