Thanks for the reply, I'm not really disappointed - it was heaps of fun just to forage around in the woods

Look at the bark in my pictures, its generally gotta be the light grey, decaying woodchips. I've found they are the best habitat for actives. Not to say they won't grow elsewhere, but i've been most successful looking in this substrate.

Had a scout today over some good yielding patches and found a few nice n ripe ones  My regular patches are a week away and they will explode very excited.
The reason I post is because of the total lack of respect some people show not only to mushi patches but the general environment, a couple of well known places I visit witch were not ready to be picked have been harvested and dug up so badly that I doubt they will grow back this season. The worst part of this was that these Enviro Vandals left cigarette butts and beer bottles and cans lying around everywhere, why do it? Selfish fools have some respect!

I think I am going to have to check out the gardens of a certain educational institution which I attend, I do remember reading somewhere that they have been found there;). I have had a quick browse a few times, but it looks pretty suspicious when there are so many people around so I will have to wait for the right time.

If you're talking about a uni and read that on these boards, then I think I might know where you're talking about.. (I also go there);)

Im pretty sure i know which school he is talking about... but on another note lets not talk about specific locations... We dont want a bunch of hippies loitering around school grounds do we?... it wont look good! lol:)

i don't think it would be the hippies loitering in schools that would be a problem. i think it would be young school kids finding and eating them at school, and being a big uproar about kids at private schools eating psychedelic mushrooms. now THAT would be a problem.

i don't know why people can't just shut the fuck up sometimes.

uhh true. some kid would have to pretty stupid to go to class on mushrooms. it might teach them a lesson or two about the power of psychedelics.

Haha, memories. I picked all lunchtime during winter in Year 12.

Shame i can't really waltz in and go for a wander now because my school was a goldmine.

So was the church across the road, who would have thought!
