If you are in the states, I can not imagine why you couldn't order from the internet. MHRB is completely legal to buy and own. If you are outside the states, I can offer no advice.

I don't understand how folk are getting into issues with this oh so easy extraction! - I used 100g powdered mhrb last night and got (again) a whopping 2.5-3g of pure..
1) Water 800ml
2) NaOH 100g
3) Root Bark 100g
4) Let sit for 3 hours
5) Naptha
6) Mix, let separate three times
7) Draw
8) Freeze Precip.
9) Collect
I'll have my furry friend make a how to video later today and find somewhere to post it, how does that sound?
Edit: Last night was out of this world! - Shrooms and DMT + MAOI

i do not have a credit card or paypal to order it and i may be able to get somebody to let me use theirs but possibly not

i'm glad you're having so much success with your extractions, but please no videos.
#1 its really not necessary considering how easy it is to perform an extraction.
#2 a bunch of us have made a real effort to get (utube) vids flagged and pulled so that MHRB doesn't the way of salvia.
and as far as your edit goes: i bet that was fucking  . i've never tried that combo with an MAOI. you should write a trip report.

Well I did my first stb today. Right now it's in the freezer, I think I see some crystals forming. It's been in there for about an hour now and I'm crossing my fingers. I did 3 pulls from 100g of MHRB and still have the bark mix sitting, I'm thinking I'll do 2 more pulls and put the naptha in a hot water bath before the last pull. Hopefully I get to experience dmt in the next few days.

Maybe rather than wreck things, you could simply evaporate.
Thought i'd let you know - tried pouring through a coffee filter, the crystals all collected but then when I dried the filter out, the crystals disappeared too :-(
So if I get the same problem again I'll try just evaporating.

Well I woke up this morning as checked my dish, there are crystals forming. I'm going to let it sit in the freezer for a few more hours then pour it off and dry it out.

Ok so I let my pan sit in the freezer for about 13 hours. The crystals were still growing but I was anxious and wanted to see what I had so far. After scraping it was about 100mg or so of mothball smelling clear/white crystals. I added naptha from the freezer into a jar and did 2 more pulls off the root bark solution, the last one was heated. Now my pan is sitting outside evaporating off. I have it in a hot water bath and it is slightly covered by the lid from the pan on there offset. I'd say I had 600ml or so to start and it's maybe at 400ml-450ml now. I guess I'm going to be up late because I'm staying up until it's ready to go into the freezer and then it's staying there for 24-48 hours. I'm thinking about trying a hit of the stuff I scraped this morning. Does anyone have a picture of like 50mg next to something?

This is about 50mg, I dont have any scales however I know this to be a good hit, a cm2 or slightly smaller on a piece of ripped zigzag papers card...

Thanks for the pic man. Yea the naptha that stopped precipitating is currently evaporating with 2 other pulls from the same bark mixture. It's been evaporating for about 18 hours now and it's down to about 300ml. Now I need to filter my naptha because it's been evaporating outside. How should I do this? A funnel and coffee filter?

Dude, the point of the STB tek is you pour off the naptha into a collection jar for use later after it precipitates, leaving crystals/dmt behind and then you just get a fan on low setting to blow away the rest of the naptha, which is a very tiny amount, very oh so tiny, less than 1ml.
- doing it this way, you can smoke it in 40 minutes, not 18 hours.... Straight To Base is about freeze precipitate, not evaporation. Freeze precipitation means you leave the impurities in the solvent while the DMT falls to the bottom, so you do not need to really filter it, just pour the solvent into another jar for use on another extraction.
It should look something like this:
Bear in mind the pic above is one hour in the freezer, after 12 hours the whole bottom was full of xtals  - they will be stuck to the bottom, so do not fear, just pour it, you'll reuse it later anyways...
If you have more crystals than that, which you should if you used 100g+ of root bark, then just pour the nps (naptha) off..
Do you have crystals lining the bottom of whatever you have your solvent solution in? Have pics? camera?

The reason I was evaporating it was because I was told it was to much naptha to freeze precipitate. Yea I can see stuff in the bottom and it's been in there for about an hour.
