the research i've read claims 82 is the perfect temp but it doesn't state whether that is the outside temp or inside(colonizing substrate is warmer, right?) either way 82 is fine, it's been confirmed efficient by none other than my friends, friend. and you definitely need to relax a bit it just takes time. patience is the hardest part of this gig, but when you compare it to actual plants it seems very fast.

my incubator is at 78-79 f inside but you should assume your jars will be about 2 degrees higher inside because of the growth.

I have been setting my incubator at 80F due to inaccuracy of thermometers. I have 3 thermometers in my incubator so I use an average ... therefore setting it at 80F.

Just a thought.
