Not much talk here about RoS.. either people are to busy playing or it jusk sucks ass..
Me, personally, Im not impressed for the money I gave. Campaign is done in just a few hrs.. it seems to me like it was rushed. I just didnt see that epicness of blizzard games, as they have done in previous diablo games. And rifts, idk, if they are that much fun, for me to hold on to this game for a while.
But as far as I know we have one more expansion incoming, at least it is planned.

I picked up Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls CE and I just haven't played it yet.
I've been way too fucked up and just haven't felt like gaming at all lately. I think I am going to start playing it here sometime tonight whenever I don't feel like playing Dark Souls 2 anymore.

Fuck I'm bored with godmode (soft core).
I want to play reaper of souls only on Hard Core.
My latest HC character made it to level 66.
Damned drink and weed does not help.
So I still have not got anywhere into reaper of souls.
Still, this game will keep me going for many years to come.
Some day I might get through reaper of souls.

I'm having a shitload of fun with it right now.
Two of my best friends decided to pick it back up once the expansion was released and we all have been having a grand old time doing runs and trying to out gear each other.
In all honesty, the new way they have handled the game is both addictive and rewarding and everything I would have hoped for from D3.

I haven't posted in this thread for a while, but I'm back at D3. I wanted to hate Blizzard forever for vanilla D3 but the ROS changes looked too good! Adventure Mode w/ Rifts and Bounties are exactly what the game needed and I find them a lot of fun to play. I also have a computer that can run it maxed out in 1080p now which is a giant improvement from like 1200x800 on all low settings before! The difficultly level has been tuned much better despite me playing Torment 1 and 2 mostly. Drop rates are tuned well also except for rifts...why is there no guaranteed legendary (Hell Baal would drop 1-2 uniques 99% of the time!). The only real addition, besides charms and rune words duh, is the lack of any pvp. A brawling arena is fine but at least give us a choice or a team based game mode!! Add me on Bnet -> blacktemplar#1848

its a crafting material for a legendary weapon, its been a couple of months since I played but I remember that items like that were no longer required to craft the legendary items you just need a lot of the other items you get from salvaging, blues, yellow and legendary items over lvl 61 and the plan for the blacksmith

It's good fun since ROS came out, the only reason I stopped playing was because I felt like playing lotro again. Too each his own no?

Different strokes for different folks indeed... But a turd still looks like a turd to me...
But really though... I hope someone out there is getting some entertainment out of the game...

You have no idea. By the time I tried my first greater rift, day or two after that patch. Already there was a lot of tryhards with rank of 30+ on those new gems...

I've been wanting to get back into D3: ROS, but school and work is taking up too much time for any of that.

So im thinking about getting D3: ROS on my PS4.
Anybody have any good news about this game? I fucking hated it when it was very first released but I never forgot about it because of my deep love for Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 with all its expansions.
I already beat the game on PC years ago before ROS was released. Dont have a PC anymore so PS4 is my only option. Its down to less then $40 for the whole game plus expansions on Amazon. Worth it? Or am I just getting my hopes to high and relishing in possible nostalgia from Diablo 1-2?

So yeah.
Bought a ps3 and reaper of souls to give this a go.
I'm 250 paragon points in and I've just done bounties and rifts. Torment 6 is a faceroll.
I've Googled the shit out of this but can't find the answers.
Does console even have greater rifts?
How on earth do I even use my key machines?
And what of epic gems?
All I've found is that ps3 is lacking, likely to never get patched/expanded, sitting here wondering if I should just go buy a ps4 and RoS tonight.
Or....
Will my ps3 save data move over to ps4?
Kind of balls deep in end game with nothing else to do. Wife and I both have all classes maxed on gear and I don't see any benefit playing anymore if there's no possibility of it getting a ps3 expansion, especially if it doesn't transfer.
Thanks

Have you enjoyed RoS though? Compared to the original D3?
I think you can transfer content and characters from PS3 to PS4.
PS4 D3 is supposed to be amazing, so seamless and almost engineered for the console, so I read. and if there to be any more expansions I can guarantee PS4 would get it if PS3 didnt.

I didn't play the original. Just got it a few months ago.
It's lacking for sure. There are a lot of glitches that can be ezpatched. Simple things like opening your inventory at the wrong time and having bosses teleport across a zone, or the targeting system..
I mean, it's what I expected I guess? I'd love to have seen necromancer and amazons. I also didn't get to kill Baal. Andy, Duri, and Meph... I am disappoint.
But as of right now I can't figure out how to do anything more than nephelem rifts. I can craft all the infernal machines but I can't open the portals. What's the point?
I'd honestly rather buy a gaming PC with the money, particularly with the console functionality. It's nowhere near seamless. They could've done better.

Have you played it on PS4? It could be a lot better then your PS3.
I first played D3 on my computer but its broken and it needs fixing so I only game on my PS4. Not to mention my internet is only stable enough for a PS4 not so much a computer.

So Google is better than it was at Christmas.
Ps4 has greater nephelem rifts, legendary gems, goblin level, the hellfire ring/amulet.
I guess you can xfer any old Gen to new Gen platforms. Ps3 to xbox1, but no xbox360 to ps3.
Xbox one "may not" even get the next patch, blizzard only said ps3 not "both new gen consoles".
Was playing yesterday and was on my final bounty for t6. The game froze during Malthael. Hours of work gone.
I hate the console but I'll only be buying a ps4 because it's fun to play with the wife.
And just as always, great game but fuck you, Blizzard, right in the back-pussy.

There's a community event for Diablo3's birthday.
They brought back Diablo 2 cow level.
A random cow spawns and opens a portal. It's old school but new school I guess?
Either way it's fun and we walked out with 9 legendaries and 5 set pieces with no magic find on t4.
Tons of resplendent chests, Cow Queen, a cow king event and just overall face rolling for fun.
It's worth playing just for this which I assume is what they want.
It's udderly fun...
