Have an Agway near by? My local Agway is selling 5 foot tall e-z hay rolls. It already comes in two layers of plastic. Imagine some oysters on that. Couldnt be any easier. Do know all of the details of the total area of it and all the details. I was late and had to leave. They are used to after you plant grass seed. Sounds like a fun project.
It reminded me of another post were he made columns of oysters

Hay, because it's so nutritious, contaminates fast, also it doesn't have the structure straw does, which mycelium enjoys quite a bit.

ya and I think that RR said it would not grow on the inside cause of lack of oxygen,to warm or something like that
