Van Halen! Saw them this year with David Lee Roth Back at the Helm and it SUCKED ASS! I never thought I'd say this, but I really enjoyed the quality of the music and live performance when Sammy Hagar was fronting the band.

The Smashing Pumpkins. Started off extremely strong (still one of my fave bands) but the later efforts in their career before the breakup were not very good imo.
And then the newest album.. just goddamn.. it sucks.

Mellon Collie and Siamese Dream were their best. I thought Adore was interesting but it sure didn't sound like them, I think it still had some good stuff. I really like the bonus disk Judas 0 that came with Rotten Apples when it first came out.
