 Man Used Hole House To Grow Pot (165 Plants) Keller TX

Well my good friend Ryan got caught a little bit ago, heres his article and pictures from fox 4 news thought you guys might find it interesting... ...FREE POSE... By the way the pitbull explained in the text was my puppy.  poor pup got hit by a flash gernade.
    
FORT WORTH — Neighbors found only one thing peculiar about the quiet young man living on Gettysburg Lane: He didn’t have much furniture.
When he moved in about four months ago, he didn’t lug in the usual mattresses and box springs or dressers and coffee tables.
"Everything he had was in garbage bags," said Jovi Carrillo, a neighbor.
Still, they said they were surprised Monday afternoon when Fort Worth SWAT and narcotics officers raided the one-story red-brick home, crashing through the door and detonating a percussion grenade.
Inside, officers found 165 hydroponic marijuana plants spread throughout almost every room of the two-bedroom house, said Sgt. R.E. Johnson of the Fort Worth police narcotics section. The only furniture was a sofa and a kitchen table. There was no bed, just a deflated blow-up mattress on the floor.
Nelson Ryan Vergara, 20, was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession, jail records show.
In the last few years, authorities have reported an increase in the number of growers turning homes into lucrative hydroponic-marijuana operations. Hydroponic marijuana is grown in a nutrient-laden solution instead of soil and allows growers to boost the potency of THC, the active chemical.
Inside the home in the 3200 block of Gettysburg, in far south Fort Worth, officers found about $20,000 in growing equipment, including a carbon dioxide tank and humidifier, Johnson said. They also found an AK-47 and a shotgun, which the grower apparently kept for protection. A pit bull bolted out the back door after officers set off the percussion grenade, which is used as a diversion during raids.
One bedroom functioned as a "grow room," where plants sat under lights, he said. Another was a "dry room," where the windows were sealed and plants dangled from the ceiling. One bathroom was used for irrigation. The plants’ leaves were stripped in the kitchen. Trimmed stalks were lined up in the garage.
Officers will seek federal drug possession charges against the grower, who could face a minimum of five years in prison.
"I think it will be a reminder to people who run these kind of operations that there are serious consequences," said Lt. Robert Rangel of the narcotics section.

And a quick story about this... Story has it that his girl snitched him out, due to the police threatening to press charges on her. Ryan was very discrete about this project and only let few knew of it... Sorry fort worth your Northern Lights and Chronic are going to decrease in numbers now. =/

We had plenty of vents going (when I say "we" I mean Him  ), as well as the feed for the plants was mixed with Osmo's de-odorizer's, used by the mexican mafia from about 1960's to 1970's to help the plants to not be so smelly. Its his girl that got the hole thing racked. Snitches are the root to every manufacturer's nightmare's I'm afraid. Neighbors didn't know shit, thought he had the house just to fix it up and re-sell it. The hole house thing was a little over kill especially in a residential area.

So his girl snitched him out, that doesnt give enough evidence for a search warrant. The police did something illegal themselves or your friend wasnt taking care of light leaks ect. which could have gave enough evidence for a search warrant. I feel for him because about half a year ago someone snitch my grow opp out to the local police. The night they came I first seen lights out in a farm field behind my house, I guess to try and get a vissual look for light leaks and stuff later that night I heard a car door slam outside and I knew something wasnt right so I quickly shut down the lights and went outside with the door lock as I went out as I walked out they were walking up I guess to try the knock and talk shit. They question me kept asking if they could come to look, after 30 minutes or so I asked them do they got a warrent they said no and they left and never seen them again that same night I dismanteld the grow opp and my carrier in this field ended. Anyways this guy needs a good lawyer to figure out how they got enough evidence for the search because if it was done wrong he could get off with a bit lighter sentence.

I was thinking that same exact thing. The buds I saw were much fatter, and healthier looking then that, I'm not sure if he just fucked up or what though haha.

Yes he's got a fantastic lawyer. Yeah cops are sneaky and just as devious as the criminals. When they pulled me over when I had all that cid and ex on me they pulled me over didn't even look at my driver-license pulled me out sat me on the curb and began searching with out a warrant or my consent problem is... Unless you have a lawyer you paid for to fight tooth and nail for ya, chances are that the court will not show any sympathy due to the fact that you were still breaking the law. It's sad how america has shit set up, based around money, greed, and power... Sound kind of familiar to the drug world doesn't it? It's life. I keep breathing. So I keep smiling... And tripping.

Your probably right. Id do the same though if i was a pig. Speaking of this story i just got to get my pit back today from the pound i had to prove that it was my dog. Got interrogated, then they gave me my pup back. He had to get 15 stitches because of the flash grenade. They said that they almost euthanized him because they were under suspicion he was a fighting dog. I used to hate america... but now i just hate humans in general.

Foreal right? My dog looks tough as fuck but is a pussy, my dad made him into a show dog by bulkin him up. I hate peta as well but Its not a bad idea. any thing to make the law look bad is good in my opinion. haha
