The Necessary Ingredients
Mixing the fixings, made 12 1/2 pints w/ 8 cups verm, 2 2/3 cups BRF, 2 2/3 Cups water (added extra water to reach Field Capacity)
Adding fixings up to bottom of the jar threads
Jars filled and topped off with dry verm.
This is my first operation ever, thought Id go big with making 12. Pressure cooking right now, gonna let cool overnight and innoc in the morning.. Going to make 6 Tasmanian and 6 Cambodian. Thanks to our friends over at The Spore Shop I went with the 2 for 1. More pics to come as the project itself dose. Also going to be making a LC tonight, hopefully Ill have pics as well.
I just wanna thank all the people at the Shroomery for all the insight and know how for me to feel confident in my first grow...
No pic updates this time, although i wish I could show you all the healthy white myc growing all up and down all 12 jars... Rapidly colonizing..mmmmmhmmm it sure is a sweet..
Drilled up a tub today for my Shotgun terrarium, I give it another 2 weeks tops before complete colonization happens.. Ill have updated pics then of 100% myc growth, and fruits...

Looking good man. Did you wipe the inside of the jar lid? An keep us updated I have heard that them jars take longer to colonize than the 1/2 I am just curious but, good luck man!

dude, put a hat on or something. Im rockin long hair too and have ended up with hair in my jars.
funny thing is it sterilized in pc and colonized just fine. I didn't even notice it till i went to dunk and roll and it was sticking out the top of the cake with myc. colonized around it.
now I just tie a rag on my head. Plus it keeps the hair away from my face.

Wiped the edges down, Check.
Those are 8 oz jars, I am beguiled because a 1/2 pint is 8 oz, thos jars look bigger then most the PF style jars that I see people posting on here. But there 8 oz, IDK, but we shall see.. And I will defiantly keep all updated w/ pic when possible..

yeah those are half pints, there are the ones you have that are taller and skinny, then there are the short fat ones. either works fine. good luck with your grow!
