Female teacher caught having sex with student in classroom
Emili Kay Daniels, 34-year-old biology from Cottonwood, Arizona, has been arrested on allegations of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.
On March 4, 2009, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office received information from an administrator at the American Heritage Academy alleging sexual misconduct between one of their teachers and a student.
The principal told detectives he tried to enter a classroom at the school building, but the door was locked. When he unlocked the door, he found Emili Daniels with a 17-year-old male student by the teacher desk, with student's pants around his knees, exposing his underwear.
During the subsequent investigation the student admitted a months long relationship with Daniels beginning in October of 2008 that involved at least 3 sexually related incidents which occurred in or around the classroom.

nope, even if the kid was of age it would have been an ethics
violation and possible a violation of laws regarding people in
custody, there were 2 coaches dismissed in my area recently for
the same acts, one of the coaches was transfered for it last
year and that coaches brother was terminated for the same thing

yes, well im not disagreeing with the fact that there should be some punishment. But if he was of age, would there have been legal action. would she have been arrested? or would it have been as simple as the case you stated, where they were either fired or transferred? I assume the latter based on your example, but IDK if you live in AZ, so it may be different there.

yes, the students that were involved with the coaches out here
were all over the age of consent for the state, the laws
violated were not for statutory rape but for crimes involving
persons in the care of institutions, it's a crime to have sex
with a mental patient or a prisoner if you're working there in
some capacity, teachers and school administrators are usually
named in these laws as well
