Not at all. I'm sure it happens more often than recorded but most parents probably don't even pay too much attention to it. Let me just explain a little thought i've had for a while. If the people who know you live on, after death, and it was widespread, proven, etc. Do you think they would want you to know that? Knowing you live again after you die would be one of the biggest things to hit the world. If that happened though, everyone wouldn't be so afraid of death and people would no longer have that control over people. You see, death is one of the biggest controls of fear. The fear of death keeps people from really living the way they want. But because science will never prove that you'll have to experience and understand in other ways to know you are aware and that our bodies are just bodies and there are other parts of us on different levels.
Personally i've done 'past life regression hypnosis' and i've had clear vivid memories and images and lives. Real or imagined i didn't randomly make think them up during this trance state.
My own near death experience as a child has brought me closer to this conclusion because i remember what happened so vividly and it couldn't have been a dream because of how it played out.
It's all a lot to take in and think about though, isn't it? When you realize that you're basically lied to you tend to start to question everything you were once told to be true. That has lead me on this path of finding out why i was lied to and how things really play out.

I'm certain theres a lot more too it but I can't explain the mechanism. It could be reincarnation or telepathy or some form of collective consciousness.
In my own experiences I've had a member of my family come back in the form of a dream after death with knowledge of the future which turned out to be correct. The message as I interpreted it was there is much more to life than meets the eye. Even if we assume it wasn't my grandfathers soul communicating then theres still the fact that the communication predicted a future event with accuracy way beyond possibly probability.
Everything I understand conflicts which is why I can't discern what is happening. Theres the desire to stay alive on one hand, its a nice thought that death is not final then on the other hand theres my family's personal experiences and the experiences of many others that suggest it is not.
As for seeing the future, I've always believed we only have the now yet I have personally had precog experiences beyond all reasonable doubt and so have many other people in my family. Again it conflicts!
Theres more too life but I don't know how to make sense of it from my current perspective.

That was amazing to watch, well worth the time. I am unsure of what I feel all though I did want to come in here and see if anyone knew of any good reading on the subject?
