 Eating shrooms in the name of sobriety

I was a bad drug addict back in the day but after 2 years in jail and NA i was able to get control of my life back. Now I trip balls about every weekend or two and its the shrooms that are keeping me sober lol. I have never felt so sober on a drug (i mean a god given gift) my higher power provided the fruits and I do the rest. Im going to school to be a drug counselor and i work in a rehab. I want to go to an NA meeting and spread the word about "shrooms for sobriety". I want to use shrooms as a religious tool. I want to incorporate them into a therapeutic regimine. pretty much they just help me to see how beautiful the world is and how lucky I am to have what I have. I love you cruel world.

dont get busted. be smart. chill in the woods or time square. the same cop thats busting you is sticking his gun in an underage boy prostitutes ass at the end off the night and sniffing coke that he never turned in.

I'm in the same boat as you. Cocaine did me in through my 20's and part of my 30's. I graduated with a degree in psychology, did my internship at a Father Flanigan's "Boys Town". and did my Practicum studies at MHMR. Lsd and Shrooms were the "tools" that took me to my "HIGHER POWER". "I've been off of Coke for 8 years now. I've been to AA, NA, CA, PDAP and various in-patient rehabilitation facilities. Mushrooms put me in DIRECT contact to my HIGHER POWER, (which I choose to call GOD). NO, don't try and convince the world that mushrooms will keep you sober. It's unethical. Sobriety is very personal. How one achieves that is their personal path. What works for you may not work for them.
