Let me explain myself:
A. I am in favor of people wanting to put whatever they want into their bodies. I'm not necessarily pro-drug I, but I am anti-prohibition. But, most people want drugs to be illegal and the police who enforce such laws are just obeying the public will.
B. I have encountered a few asshole cops. This does not mean that all cops are assholes. Most of them are decent people who are trying to do their jobs and to make the community better.
C. A few well-publicized instances of police brutality are not proof that all cops are vicious assholes. I could use that same argument about black people and point to their high violent crime rates and say that all of them are criminals. That is ludicrous and it would get shouted down by the political correctness police in about two seconds. Do not judge a whole community based upon the actions of a few.

Some police suck balls. Some are cool. Most are just dickheads because its their job and its how they get paid. No one likes the police because its always their word against yours. Its basically a bad system of 'justice'. We wouldn't need laws if people weren't insane.

I sincerely doubt that any law enforcement officer out there would prefer to bust some dude with a few ounces over a fucking murderer.

Seriously, cops are the enemy and should be treated as such. Never speak to them, always ask for a lawyers. They will lie to get you convicted if they think you are guilty.

Ever live in a small town? Small town cops like to stir-up trouble. Since small town cops don't do murder investigations, his statement couldn't be more true.
I have to say there are all kinds of cops, and it depends mostly on the department.
Sherriffs tend to be nice, curteous, and work oriented, they have large areas to cover, murders to investigate, meth labs to bust, and all sorts of things which take precedence over giving people trouble for frivilous things.
Small town cops stir-up trouble, they like to bust kids for skateboarding, hand out fix it tickets, hand out city ordinance tickets, and whatever their bored minds can come up with during a shift.
State patrol are trained to be assholes. This is for two reasons:
1. Most of them are young. 22 - 30
2. They deal with the most insane individuals on the road, as a result they have the highest work injury rate out of any other law enforcement group.

Hey now, the Gestapo were good people too.
A few of them wanted to kill Jews, but overall, most of them just wanted to build a better Germany.
We shouldn't judge the Gestapo on the actions of a few Jew killing Gestapo officers.

Yea, 911 is great for the cops to come put the bodies in the bags and take pictures of the crime scene. Thats about all they can do for violent crime, and thats all I expect them to do.

Hmm let me think about this for a second...
Let's pretend I'm a cop getting paid a yearly salary, with no bonuses for busting real criminals. Should I risk my life going after a murderer/rapist, who would rather die then go to jail and most likely are armed and ready to kill. Or, on the other hand, I can bust some harmless pot smokers and get my dick sucked by my fellow officers for "getting criminals off the street."
Damn thats a tough choice...

Oh for the love of God...you compare men who participated in the murder of millions of civilians to men and women who enforce drug, traffic, and general laws? That's the biggest load of shit I have ever seen. Only some burnt out hippy would make such a comparison.
