I am only 18 years old, and I'm afraid I might be pretty sick. I woke up yesterday and took my morning shit. I happened to notice that the toilet paper was covered in blood, which scared me. Now, I've had hemherroids before, but this was a considerable amount of blood.
It sat in the back of my mind all day, and I did some internet reading. It put my mind at ease a little and I didn't think about it until later. At about 6 PM, I took another shit. This time...oh lawd. The water in the bowl was all red and stuff. I got really scared at this point.
I woke up at about 2 AM, and couldn't get back to sleep because I was afraid. I went back downstairs and took another small shit. Less blood, but still blood.
This morning, I woke up after tossing and turing worrying about my death...took my morning shit, and no blood.
So, you guys think I'm safe? Could I have just eaten something that bothered my stomach? The blood wasn't a deep dark blood like they say to watch out for. More like blood when you cut your finger - bright red.
Thank god for the anon forum. I haven't told anyone in real life yet...it was only one day. But I'm still kind of worried and I hope you all have some good advice for me.

Hemmerhoids.
Internal.
The bright red blood indicates that it was not passed through the digestive tract. This means the blood is inevitably coming from the rectum or anus.
You seemed to have dismissed hemmerhoids because you've had them before, but I'm willing to bet you had external hemmerhoids before. This is probably an internal hemmerhoid.

Go to a doctor, but as has been said before if the blood is fresh you should be dealing with a leak near the exit.

Thanks for everyones concern lol. But, I haven't done it since that day (2 days ago now) so I'm just gonna hold out and see if it happens again.
