Which strains of cubensis grow best on BRF cakes?

You can grow all types of cubensis from brf cakes, yes?
Which strains of psilocybe cubensis grow best on BRF cakes? Is there a best?

Sadly Im not even sure if this is a legitimate question but just curious if people have found different results for different strains.

This is one of the most frequently asked questions... I asked this question before, too :wink:

Most of the cubensis strains are suitable for BRF cakes. Really it doesn't seriously make differences at different strains.
When I asked before 2-3 people suggested B+, Cambodian, Equador, Golden Teacher. But if you look at grow logs you can see lots of good results with other strains, too.
Performance just depends on the health of your spores and the conditions that you'll provide.
That's all.

im currently on my first grow with BRF cakes using B+. They are still colonizing(like 50%). They have been in there for almost 2 weeks. Looking good though so far.

It seems like a legitimate question, although you should be a bit more specific, as its hard to compare strains as being "better" than others. If you were to ask for the fastest to fruit, the largest yields, etc I'm sure the community could come to some sort of consensus, especially if you were an expert grower and could keep your controlled variables in check.

As everyone has stated, a cube is a cube. That being said, some of the fastest colonizers tend to be cambos and brazilians based on many people's reports...

Now that we have made that clear.. from my cake experience:
- Hawaiian's did the best for me overall. Consistent healthy flushes and potency.

- Runner up was Mazatapec: flushes werent as good as the HW but the potency was higher. The 1st pic below is the 1st flush, the 2nd flush the mushrooms were much bigger.

- Cambodians and EQ had good flushes but the mushrooms were very small and dried to near nothing.

My 2 cents.
