 what did i do wrong?

hey guys im a first time grower but after 2 weeks from injecting the spores i have 0 results. nothing was contaminated, it is like i injected nothing into my jars. did i just get a bad batch of spores or what?

Tell us more regarding your process, and where you ordered your spores from.

yea i injected the spores into my jars and put them in a cabinet with the incubator (high 70s degrees, i live in a kinda cold area and its usually around 60-65 in my house). thats pretty much it
and i bought them from the spore store (sporestore.com)

i currently have this same problem(though its been only 6 days and not 2 weeks) but wtf!? shouldnt my jars have started growing some myc?
i got the spores from a vendor...dont know if i should say who...
i followed the pftek vids to a T (using the exact same measurement)
i put medical tape (i think its MP tape, will try taking off though in a few days in case that is the prob) on and put em in a shoebox...its kinda cold in my house as well, which is why i have moved the box nearer to a heater...but yea, no growth and now im sadsadsad 
anyone else had this happen/have any ideas?

sporestore was your problem. they are about the worst site from spores. never heard one good thing about them and alot of people get ripped off by them. start over and use a shroomery sponser. there all top notch and will give you healthy spores

i bet you either have bone dry substrate or you have your jars sitting directly on top of your heating pad which in turn give you bone dry jars but even better yet too much heat and you have dead spores or possibly even the other possibility of you not waiting until your jars were cool to inoculate

I can't blame him for ordering from them. I almost did my first time. Till a quick google search showed bad reviews. That's how I found this board. In any case, they have a shockingly nice website (much better done than, spore works, or ralphster's, ect..) You'd think they were the con-artists considering how basic and slapped together those sites look.
My best recommendation, is to get some good spores, learn how to make brf cakes properly (that's if you don't) and try again.

Yep, could take 9 days for the spores to germinate and 2 more days before you can even see a little growth off them. (This is a pretty extreme case, but you have nothing to be worried about at 6 days)

sporestore is the problem, i loose count how many times i and many others have said that they are a scam site as is sporebank.
check out the shroomery sponsors.

^^ Yeah I had a look there - its just the shipping costs are extremely high. Are all the sponsors based in the US, or is there any reliable sponsors/shops based in Europe where the shipping wouldn't cost as much?
