Yow i need some help trying to figure out if my jars are contaminated or not................... Im just in the experimental phase of growing but after reading hundreds of dem posts here i tink im ready to tackle any grow and any problem that comes along. I tink i already know what de answer is, but i figured i might as well get your opinions on de issue since im still a noob, no matter how much i think i know........THX IN ADVANCE FOR DE HELP MUN !NUFF RESPECT TO DE COMMUNITY!
-Dem jars been incubating for a week now and dis is de first sign uh growth.
-8 jars have uh corn which was inoculated wit strain John Allen
-4 uh dem were opened after 3 days so i could simmer dem kernels again and repeat de inoculation (i was afraid i didint simmer enough because i read afterwords dat de corn must be soft enough to break apart between yah fingers)
-Now 4 days later only 2 uh de jars wit de softer corn have started showing sumting
- De only ting is that de white stuff only growing on de corn grains dat have busted open.....and they look like white mold wit hair growing out uh dem
-De other jars uh softer corn are contaminated im certain.....they were the ones wit the most water buildup at de bottom and now theres pink stuff on my corn!
(Now i know patience is key when it comes to dem tings.....but im working on it mun....i tink de only reason dis shit happened is cuz i opened my tub too much and didnt start intense research until after my first batch lol)

Regardless of your status as a "rasta" I believe the correct spelling of "uh" is "of" and "dem" is "them"
It was kinda fun reading your post with the voice of a rastamon in my head but in the future please type in english. If you are genetically incapable of spelling correctly, the forum provides a spell check function.

The pictures look bad, but I have no idea what you're trying to ask. Since English is not your first language, perhaps you can find someone in your country to write your questions out for you, and then we can help. RR

It's a bad picture, backlit and all. From what I can tell it looks pretty similar to the mycelium I see in jars when spores first germinate. If you wait a few days you'll be sure if it's mold or not. Most contaminants grow quite a bit quicker than mushroom mycelium. Good luck mon.
