Just make sure to let the needle cool. The PE melts if touched with a hot needle.

just make sure the syringe isnt too hot or else itll melt and stick to the polyfil. Also, If the layer of polyfil is too think you might have a hard time passing it through without pushing the polyfil about.

I heat the needle tip red hot and then wipe it with an alcohol pad to cool it and clean.
Other than worries of melting poly-fil, any reasons not to?
