I'd refrain of putting the tabs in the freezer. The gel tabs are more prone to moisture damage than other forms of LSD. In fact, I'd say the best thing you can do is keep it in a dry, air-tight, darkened jar, and toss in one of those silica jell packets. They suck the moisture out of the air... you know what I'm talking about, the kind that comes in dry toys and dry foods... if you want to find some quick, I know they sell them in those dried wusabi peas they sell at wal-mart. Heat... as long as its room temp (no more than 80 degrees), you're not going to get degradation from heat. Just never keep it in direct light or sunlight.
To give you my honest opinion, I think some people think the molecule is more of a pansy than it actually is. Its not a hardy molecule by any means, but I've known people to just leave their L on the seat beside them exposed in the open during an entire drive to a festival and the stuff seemed fine. Furthermore, whenever you actually buy L at festies, they rarely take such precautionary measures... and yet the L is always mindblowing.

Oh, wait, it's not gel-tabs. It's actual paper blotter.
Dude you're fine  Blotter is probably the most resilient form of LSD. I've known blotter that has been kept in the dark and a dry place for 20 years and still just as potent.

Yup. A lot of time storing it in the freezer can be a very bad thing, because when you pull it out, the moisture from the air will condense on the cold surface. You have to let it warm up for a while before even opening it, and it has to be absolutely air tight... and even then you can mess up. The freezer is generally a bad idea. I find people can damage their stash more by taking overly protective measures than by not taking enough protective measures. Treat it like a kid Keep it comfortable, but don't stifle it or neglect it.

Damn, you beat me to it :P
LSD doesn't degrade in room temperatures, just keep it out of drafts, excess heat, and light and some LSD can last for years. Rumor has it that the black air-tight vials used by the Sandoz corporation during clinical trials in the 60's are still good! You can also use tinfoil to cover it up.

I keep my LSD in a small sealed baggy between the pages of a textbook on a shelf at room temperature. Occasionally I'll place a few silica crystals near the baggy's in the book for protection from humidity.
It doesn't usually last longer than a few months before Its used. I've never noticed any decrease in potency from doing this. I used to store it in the freezer, untill one day we had a power outage for 3 hours, my stash was fine, but who needs that worry!
LSD on blotter IMHO is pretty darn easy to store. I'm sure it could last years even at room temperature if you kept it from air, moisture and light.
