 Unknown Chemical Fake LSD

The other day after a little bit of searching i came across a LSD hookup through a friend of mine. Ive taken single tabs twice, one time it was LSD and the other it was some sort of DOX.
I purchased 3 tabs, 1 for me and 2 for my friends who were tripping for the first time. I was told by the friend who had hooked me up that it was really good acid but when we went to pick up the tabs the guy said it was a "new batch" and threw in an extra tab for my friend (who had refered me but wasnt tripping with us tonight). This made me slightly uneasy but at the cost of 40 bucks NZ for a tab i wasnt ready to throw them out. On top of this they were very large tabs and quite stiff which indicated they had been compeltely saturated.
Neways i met up with my 2 other friends and we each took our tabs at around 4 in the afternoon. Instantly and bitter taste came across my mouth which continued for about 5 mins i would say. I knew this wasnt a good sign but i didnt wanna dash my friends hopes to early so we went for a swim and played the waiting game.
It took about 2 and a half hours before we started to feel anything and peaked around 4 hours being almost completely gone after 6 hours. The high was intense within the body as i had shakes throughout and strange soreness is the backs of my legs. Our heads were really clear but we all felt the feeling of being almost halfbaked. Like the world was just altered slightly but nothing you could really put your finger on. It was very background, we could tell that we were high but it was in no way overwhelming like an LSD trip. It just sort of sat in the background and things were a bit strange and we were very talky.
Feeling pretty jipped for our money and me feeling quite bad cause i wanted to show my friends a good time we ended up buying some high grade marijuana at around 10 at night and ended up having a grand ole time. so no harm done :P
Neways my reason for posting (this is actually my first post ever!)is that i cannot for the life of me figure out what this chemical was. Remember the tabs were large, plain white (no ink) and tasted bitter. The bitterness lasted for a while too which would indicate there was a large amount of whatever was on the tab.
I am at a complete loss as to what this chemical was and any help would be greatly appreciated

Ive had some that sound similar and they to had the strict9 taste, the metal taste. Which ive had good acid that had that bitter taste, but this shit was stiff and was on off white with no prints and gave me the shakes and shit, the high wasnt bad but wasnt a lsd trip. not sure what chem you got but it was more than likely just some RC.
