iv got one cake in my FC that has a small area that is bluish green?? is this mold and can i cut it out of the cake to save the cake or should i just trash the cake?

Use a q-tip to rub the suspect area, if the colour transfers its mould, it not its bruising.
Alot of new growers make the mistake of thinking bruising is mould.
Mould will look like sand ontop, while bruising is the colour of the mycelium itself.
If it is indeed contaminated, harvest what mushrooms are fruiting and dump outside. Dont want to spread that nasty stuff. The mushrooms however are safe.

The q-tip test has been debunked. Mushroom mycelium is delicate and will easily rub off on a q-tip, giving a false reading of mold. Here's a recent thread with pictures that makes the point. RR
