just curious if anyone has actually done this?
i would never do it, it does not seem as though what they say about finding legit synthesis online is not actually as easy as say finding a good dmt extraction or mescaline extraction. most tweakers don't seem to be the well thought out type, more after chasing that high.
i dont condone methylamphetamine as a recreational drug, nor amphetamines in general (the CNS kind) as recreational or bootleg crank so to speak
just wondering if anyone has ever done this, since this is anonymous.

Making meth is about as easy to make as a birthday cake, you just gotta go out and buy the ingredients. However its tough to store shop around for pseudoephedrine.

The first time I did meth I went to my friends house and he made it in his kitchen right in front of me and gave it to me right there. Burned quite a bit.
Its extremely easy to make and there are tons of legit recipes on the internet.

It's pretty much the large-scale production that's dangerous, right? (Fumes, explosions, etc.)
I saw an "idiot's guide" to setting up a small-scale MDMA lab in PDF form somewhere... it had directions for making meff as sort of an aside. I wish I could find it now.

It's cheaper to buy meth from a drug dealer than it is to make your own. Meth is so common is some areas, that it's unnecessary to make your own unless you're the one selling it. I don't know this from first hand experience but I know a lot about drugs in general. Fuck meth!!!

Its not too hard if you do it the ghetto way with red phos from matches and iodine but the result is impure and will likely have many nasty toxic impurities. Other methods require a reasonable amount of chemistry skill/knowledge and access to things that are not easily available to the average person.
As someone pointed out its really pointless to make it when it can be bought so cheap on the black market. The big labs sell it very cheap. Why risk all the dangers (prison, chemical hazards, toxic impurities) when its easier to just ask around until you find someone that will sell you some of ice quality.

I read a few teks on it, sounds like if you can do a DMT extraction then meth wouldn't be much harder.

As with all chems, it is probably difficult to make pure stuff, but easier to make the "shake and bake" type with matches and such. The legit way requires some hard to get chemicals (not just for synthesis, but also extraction at various stages) and some good organic chemistry knowledge.
I heard of a disgruntled chemistry professor who moved to Mexico and helped one of the cartels develop a new type of synthesis that didn't require as many watched chemicals. In the chemical industry, the reaction carried out is determined by factors such as cost of reagents, but in the clandestine world alternative synthesis are always possible, and people can get around watched chemicals.
For example, safrole (MDMA precursor) is watched, but you can make it from unwatched chemicals...

if one has the knowledge and wants to, they could quite easily extract it from sassafras, if one has enough chemistry knowledge to actually make mdma in the first place, this wouldnt be any harder than what they are already doing.
its kinda like lsd. sure, the dea caught one of the biggest makers of it, but i guarantee the void was filled by several people who seized the opportunity and i cant help but notice most people have never heard of most r-c's, including the couple that are illegal, but we are definitely going to see more
2 c-b sold on the black market in the coming years because its much easier to get things on the black market than the grey market.
case in point, its a massive pain in the ass in my personal opinion to go about getting r-c's through the internet, etc, but finding someone who you can get lsd from is as simple as asking around.
