one of my friends thinks that every male should be "snipped" once you hit puberty and in order to have a child you and your partner (be it male or female) have to take a test on how to raise children.  if you fail once you never have kids.  sounds good to me ha ha.

The problem isn't that there is unhealthy food around, or that people don't know about healthy food, it's that people in general have tremendous difficulty avoiding temptations.  Different vices for different people, that's all.

Obesity is not some isolated, acute problem that can be solved by banning something here or there.  It is just one more manifestation of the world's only problem: the human condition of suffering.  It has us doing all kinds of ridiculous and unhealthy things, just because it's _so_ _hard_ for people just to fucking exist.  Why pick on fat people?

Everyone suffers from some degree of some kind of addiction or compulsion.  This is normal, and someone else's compulsions are really of secondary concern to one's own.  A quick look at your threads shows you trying and failing to quit smoking, trying to justify drinking at 10am, nodding out in a bar, and not bathing for three weeks.
