25 years, some very good, some not so good...
i wish her well...

That's always tough, and the longer the time the harder the break sometimes, but it sounds like you've got a good attitude about it, so you'll do fine in the long haul.

Separation anxiety SUCKS! My therapist told me divorces can be a blessing in disguise. Also, someone else told me "there's plenty of cans in the dump, ya just gotta find one with less dents!". That one always brings a smile to my face.

Separation anxiety does suck. Its best to not be alone. Go out to a bar or club, talk to people.

thanks for well wishes all
stopping ciggies as part of this transition
now, i wish i had plenty some good ganja, and some buddies (guys & gals, ya) to help "destroy the evidence"
instead hang with "ex" at home for a bit, talk with and/or ingmore kids (& their friends), cook some soup, read, snooze a bit, drink maybe 2 beers, watch ER at 10, crash out by midnight reading in bed...
boring
maybe saturday i can catch the release party for vickie, lisa, & m.a.'s latest CD over at the starwood center (& hope my son'd friends don't trash the house or get busted while i'm out... dontcha think a 19 year old needs a job or something...)
and life goes on...
and on...

separations can be tough after so many years.. my parents are in the midst of a long seperation from 35+ years of marriage. it was mainly my mom's idea, but they need it - i think they'd have ended up killing each other (or at least be very very unhappy) if they stuck together.
just wanted to send you some good vibes
