I am wondering do any of you guys have any experience regarding healing, using self suggestion, meditation or any other out of the ordinary medical and scientific stuff?
These thing are powerful tools for spiritual and other mystical practices... but can they be used for healing of the body? I believe they can be used. But I am not familiar with any kind of technique of the process...

Self suggestion is a powerful tool. I believe all injury is at least 50% thought or your outlook on your injury.
Next time you bump your leg or stub your toe, laugh about it. It will hurt A LOT less. This is just a minor example and the tip of the iceberg to what thought can do in the medical context. Miracle cures for cancer tumors and that sort of thing are, I believe, caused by positive energy of the patient.
There is a lot a new science arising that uses certain healing sound frequencies to treat injury. This is something I find of particular interest.

Yea, I remember I had spontaneous bursts of laughter as a child, when I did suffer some injury. It really made pain go away.
But point of this thread is something different. For some time now, I am listening to these new age guys talking about healing. And I am interested in the technique of this process. Bumping one's leg is minor in comparison with healing of serious health issues... Anyone here had some experience with this??

Everyone here has some experience with it. All western medicine does is support the healing of the body. But it's still you, the body itself that does all the healing. Pills don't fix broken legs or wounds, your body does. The theory behind self-healing is very simple, you just put your attention with the correct intention on the spot that is to be healed and your body will do the rest. Healing yourself is a subconscious skill of the body, your body does it all the time. There's a lot of "techniques" out there like EFT and reiki, but they all come down to the same thing.. where attention goes, energy flows.

I like fasting, it's the opposite of drug use and can really clean yourself up to get "high" again.
But it is something that is hit or miss, some days just aren't good days for cleaning house and my body is my house/prison.
Sometimes I feel high from fasting, it can really clean out toxins and it is a good habit because one day or half day without food isn't always productive.

I used to battle my schizophrenia with meditation alone. After one or two hours of meditating, my schizophrenic symptoms would go away for about 8-10 hours and then I would have to meditate again.
Now I just don't smoke pot so I have much less schizophrenic symptoms.

That's really reaffirming and comforting to hear. A battle w/ schizophrenia that shows that to a very large degree we do indeed control our own realities. Or can. And the belief/realization that we can really serves to amplify the degree to which we control it. All we have to do is take responsibility.
I'd also like to second someone else's suggestion that there really isn't much to self-healing aside from focusing on what needs healing and the intention to heal it. Perhaps use visualizations if you find it helpful...imagine healing blue light beaming into the area. It's really up to you. But you must believe you can heal yourself.
Now I should practice what I preach, and send some healing energy into my infected gum, and Achilles heel...

As simple as that. I would not probably start this thread in the first place if I am not sick right now. And if there was a medical cure for this shit.. that goes here too. And right now I am on evening meditations combined with some custom form of healing self-suggestion combined with a lot of herbalism (not of any hallucinogenic sort)... Well soon we will see the results of this practice... Anyway guys you've been helpful. Thank you...
