Are YOU dreaming?

So...my dream retrieval has jumped up a few notches the past couple of days. And to my delight, what I awoke from today was much more of the funky weird caliber I've thrived in for so long.
Briefly, perspective changed several times. From the responsible caretaker/parent of child planning on taking it out for an adventure, to the child having been left behind alone in the house (funny, being the only child). Inanimate objects around me then became animate, playing w/ me and taking me on the adventure the parents had intended on w/o living the house. There was a sudden awareness of a big bad wolf on the other side of the house. I go towards it...find/confront a Cruella deVille sort of character w/ a pack of sickly wolves around her. Perspective change here? Unsure. She wants me as a flesh sacrifice that will cure her pack. I say there is no saving these dogs, and "bury them" by covering them with a blanket, upon which they disappear under. Parents come home, and I scramble to hide, not to be noticed, suggesting another perspective change to one of the magical "inanimate" objects.
Briefly.
What's really interesting is that apparently a lot of people in this hostel I'm currently staying at have been having some crazy dreams lately. Avg, run-of-the-mill people having wacky dreams. Naturally not rememebering much but-- Makes me wonder whether we may just have a great stirring of dream consciousness taking hold.
Must check in to what's happenin on a stellar level...
People, I beseech you...anything interesting to report about the dreamworld? Your experiences, or those of others?

Yes i had a dream last night, like i thought if i stopped smoking cigarettes i would dream again.i won´t be touching cigarettes or any drug for a while i want to explore more the dream world.
As far as the dream goes i was telling my ex-girlfriend that there is an astral pussy:)
What i take from this dream is that the dream world is in fact the astral plane(budist concept)
sorry for the bad english.

well i did have hte most powerful dream of my life two nights ago which involved seeing the 'child' version of me (exactly how i looked in photos when i was young) and i also saw the 12 year old version of me....it was pretty profound because i had never seen myself in dreams like that before
i have also just quit smoking weed and it's really good to finally remember my dreams again and i don't think i will go back because dreams are very important to me

many i must have had a cartoon dream are something I just remember being glad I had one I made a point to see something of the sort it sucks though I cant remember anything now I pulled maybe twice earlier and now I really cant remember, though I do remember playing a little guitar in my dream so it couldnt have been that bad.
i got that electronic sleep dreams of boxy looking spaceshooters turning into motercycles, my aqua teen poster doing a whole cyborg 009 reference things in my room are really percise not like what it used to be in the other room just complete chaos, clothes piled up, figures, cases, posters, mostly just the clothes and furniture, I actually held my fist back on one occasion and it turned into a couch, I start complaining about how I shouldve just hit the thing, another time I actually beleived I woke up, whistled a sound from my dream and then went back to sleep. It was a strange note to say the least something in the air around here...

it's like another dimension for me.... just keep training your brain, remembering details. Most of the time it's impossible for me to distinguish between what I know as "Real Life" and my dream life. Just the other day, I had a blast with a garbage bag (the ones with drawstrings) there was a heavy breeze in the air and I used the bag to travel... short distances, of course.

I have dreams almost every night but staying in a hotel usually produces strange dreams for me. Always thought it was the sudden change in sleeping condition; bed, pillow, what have you.
But there probably is more to it.
