Our world may be a giant hologram (great article)

New Scientist

http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20126911.300-our-world-may-be-a-giant-hologram.html?DCMP=OTC-rss&nsref=online-news

Quote:

For many months, the GEO600 team-members had been scratching their heads over inexplicable noise that is plaguing their giant detector. Then, out of the blue, a researcher approached them with an explanation. In fact, he had even predicted the noise before he knew they were detecting it. According to Craig Hogan, a physicist at the Fermilab particle physics lab in Batavia, Illinois, GEO600 has stumbled upon the fundamental limit of space-time - the point where space-time stops behaving like the smooth continuum Einstein described and instead dissolves into "grains", just as a newspaper photograph dissolves into dots as you zoom in. "It looks like GEO600 is being buffeted by the microscopic quantum convulsions of space-time," says Hogan.

If this doesn't blow your socks off, then Hogan, who has just been appointed director of Fermilab's Center for Particle Astrophysics, has an even bigger shock in store: "If the GEO600 result is what I suspect it is, then we are all living in a giant cosmic hologram."

People eating hallucinogens having been saying this for QUITE some time.

I seemed to think that the Universe was just energy coming into and out of existence..........I personally believe in shape shifting and have witnessed it.....nothing really cool like a human turning into something nonhuman.........that would be sweet to pull off at a security gate to a military facility......really freak out the "bad asses" and send them running home.

I like your sig, really that is why they control information release and perception.......they really do fear that a great deal and manipulate the people that are easily manipulated...it's very sad.

People that have become aware of things through drugs have not been given enough credit........in fact none.

Ancient shaman knew all of this shit that modern science gets so much fancy ass publicity over.........really, they knew everything....it was all there in visions.

I wonder if this is why David BLaine and mindfreak can just walk through solid objects or throw a card through a windows glass...that is some freaky things that I feel are quite real....as there is a complete lack of a stage in street illusions.

If you guys want you should do a google video search on 'nassim haramein'. The lecture he gives is about 8+ hours long so i suggest watching it over a few days. It's very similar in relation to this and his ideas are very interesting.

It is about a scientific achievement, yes sure mysticism has discovered it as a theory/belief a long time ago but really.......clearly they had a gismo find it so that is science.

That is true did you read that article? It's long but really something worth reading could be a big breakthrough if all is proven to be right.

Both are magicians in the illusion sense of the word, and do not work miracles.

Theoretical science can get pretty mystical. But come on, open up your mind. You must consider that we are no more than an existence of our own reality. We are limited to our own senses. Basically, being human is a barrier to what is going on in the universe.
