 Firefighters uncover marijuana grow-op in industrial park area [OTTAWA]

A routine call by Ottawa firefighters turned into a marijuana bust for police Sunday evening in an industrial park area on the city’s east side.
At around 6:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the 2500 block of Blackwell Street, north of Walkley Road and west of Sheffield Road. Firefighters first noticed a small amount of smoke coming from one of the industrial bays on the street, but no fire, according to police. As they investigated further, they discovered a marijuana grow operation with approximately 50 plants inside one of the street’s businesses.
Police were contacted and a 30-year-old male was arrested.
Police did not release the name of the suspect or the name of the business where the grow-op was uncovered, and neither did they release the exact address or the street value of the plants that were seized. The investigation is ongoing.

Drug chemicals are going to be more abundant and survive longer than any anti-drug agendas. Some of us are just ahead of the game, we already know what the future will understand. Drugs weren't bad but how some people used them were and some people just were bad because they had to be.
