Frozen LC! (Noob Questions!)

So I cooked up a couple of jars of Maitake LC last month and popped them in the mini fridge for safe keeping. Well, last night I was making making up syringes and I discovered one was frozen solid! I hate the little freezer thing in that fridge. It's useless at keeping ice cream frozen, yet it freezes anything near it!
I moved the jar to the bottom of the fridge to thaw out slowly, assuming that sudden temperature changes would just be bad. So will it be okay?
Also, I'm trading cultures with people, and I need to know what is safe to ship now, and what is not. Oysters I'm guessing will be alright, but I'm also sending out things like maitake and a few dried mushrooms and spore prints. As long as there's no water, ice crystals can't form and rupture cell walls, correct?

I'm currently looking for cultures of the following species:
Calocybe indica, Chlorophyllum rachodes, Lentinula boryana, Polyporus umbellatus

I have discovered that pretty much every fridge will freeze stuff if its right up against the wall/area where the coils are under the plastic. Line the wall/area with sheet styrofoam and that will keep it from happening again.
I know that oysters will definitely survive a freeze and thaw, but I don't know about maitake. Also LC is more susceptible to harm during freezing because there is no solid substrate to hide into.
-------------------- Evolution is Lamarckism in disguise. Adaptation never creates a new species or trait, but rather the new species/trait always existed within the parent DNA until circumstances allowed it to be activated. For instance, every wolf has the DNA for poodles, but that DNA would never be revealed without man selectively breeding for it.
